What if miami starts winning with matt moore??

moore will probably make more plays down field in the center 3rd of the field than henne did...he seems to be very willing to throw the ball into those tight windows around defenders in the middle...and we should definitely try to get some roll outs and misdirection stuff going with moore and his mobility under center...but he's still got the worst right tackle in football and 2 guys at guard who allow jailbreak quick pressures off the snap of the ball in a hurry so he's gonna take a ton of hits...that and reggie bush as your back in pass pro spells big trouble picking up edge blitzers and blitzers period

but actual wins due to the change...ehhh...

It doesn't look good no doubt but stranger things have happened.
Moore might just be the best QB on the field Monday. (chuckle)

I realize we may be splitting hairs at this point biut do you expect Moore to be more productive then Henne? Less productive or more of the same? Just curious, I think I remember you saying we should go with Moore anyway, I may be wrong.

Dolphins always play the jets tough
we could have peewees on this team
we will give the jets problems..

Now that the dolphins have nothing to play for they will be loose
they all hate the jets too.. Its monday night? away from home..
With the leader henne fallen i see where they come into the jets game
really wanting to kick some *** and get the 1st win..

he could wind up being the best qb in fins history if he loses out, because that means we get luck

It would be a hell of a lot more difficult to trade up. That's for sure. But c'mon man.

i said i thought there was a decent chance moore would win the job out of camp...but that was really more a i didn't think henne would show as well as he did to start the season...not that henne really lit it up or anything but he made plays despite a ton of pressure in his face and he seemed to show better understanding of this spread o than i expected he would...but henne still showed the same issues in the red zone he's shown the last 2 years...

as for moore going forward i think he might fare ok...but i also think i would try to design ways to get him in space and on the move taking advantage of his mobility with roll outs and moving the pocket some...i think the oline is gonna not do moore any favors but that would go for anyone we put under center right now...i don't think having moore there will add up to wins in the end though...some decent games and some bad ones is what i would expect from him...but who knows maybe this offense will help him out also and he'll fare a little better than expected

What do we do if say the team goes 10-6?

Remember guys defense is getting healthy. Vonta, TD and Clemons should be ready for Jets and with the new acqusition at Oline, it is possible we turn this team aaround.

Go we keep TonY and/ Irie?

Do we keep Moore at QB?

Oh no that means no Lock for you...lol!!!

Matt Moore = Thigpen. No need to get excited. But if he wins 2 games we need to bench him immediately.

Thanks Hoops!

Heck, I'll play along. IF Matt Moore took us to 10-6, then of course we'd keep him. We should still fire Sparano and Ireland, more so, because it took Henne going down and having no other options for them to play this guy, who was a better qb option sitting under their noses. We would also need to use our now late 1st round pick on the best young qb still available, moving up if necessary to get the new regime's pick. Then, if Moore proves to be for real, and you have a great young up and comer, then you have the Philip Rivers/Drew Brees problem that San Diego had a while ago. I for one would find it refreshing to have too many good qbs on our roster!

If Moore wins 2 straight we immediately erect a statue of him next to Dan the man with him holding up his arm in the manner of a peace sign.
