What If Sports uses computer modelling to predict how teams will fare. They have had ome success supposedly. Here's their 2009 predicitions and then their 2008 predictions so you can check them out for yourselves. I personally think they are selling our team a little short.

looks like one of the better predictions. 9-7 sounds reasonable

i don't see the Pats sweeping us. they are very beatable this year, yeah even with Brady.

I guarantee the Pats will not go 16-0. After reading that, I could tell that the data they used to make the predictions was flawed.

Everybody keeps tlking about Brady being back... The thing is Brady doesnt play defense and that unit is going to be in the bottom half of the NFL.

Pats defence is not get lights out for a while. off the 24-25 starters in defence about 15 are going to be below 25 yr old alot of youth and it takes time to get good.

You could say the same exact thing about our defense!

1,700 yards for Pennington, and 1,400+ for Ronnie. Fun simulation. I expect us to be better than the Jets (the computer thinks we win 49% at home and 43% away) but 9-7 is not unreasonable.

9-7 is pretty realistic. I still dont understand how people think the Jets will be that good. I just dont see it. Personally, I would switch them with the Bills there. As much as i hate them, i think Buffalo will be fairly decent this year.

Possible Fantasy Sleeper: Davone Bess, WR - Greg Camarillo is slated to start next to Ted Ginn Jr., but he is still battling back from a torn ACL. Whether he is fully ready to go by the regular season or not, Bess is an intriguing fantasy option. He had 35 catches for 366 yards in the team's last six games (when Camarillo was out) last year and really found his niche as a possession receiver. Since he does not get many yards-per-reception or touchdown opportunities, he will need a great deal of targets to be valuable, yet it is clear that Pennington appreciates Bess and will likely be comfortable using him heavily all year. Our projections have Bess at 44 receptions for 489 yards and three touchdowns. Camarillo and Ginn combine for 82 receptions, so expect Bess' numbers to go way up if either of those players gets hurt.
Are they seriously saying that our top 3 WRs will only have a total of 126 receptions? We must have one helluva running game.

They didn't say New England would go 16-0 either; they predicted them to go 11-5.

And I agree that the most likely scenario by far is that the Dolphins and Pats split, which would leave both teams at 10-6 in this simulation.
