Things look so doom and gloomy right now on these boards right now. I'm trying to think of some happy thoughts...lol, and this is what I got.

Marshall Faulk was on NFL Network with Rich Eisan this morning and he said our owner wants to and HAS to make a huge splash in Miami this offseason. He said you do it with PLAYERS not coaches...referring to Philbin. He said releasing Marshall wreaks of Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark to Miami. Well, we all know Wayne is no longer available...but there are a lot of other WR's still out there, arent there? Lloyd, Manningham, etc...and don't forget Dallas Clark.

Philbin/Peyton talked FOOTBALL (X and O's) during their visit, right? Maybe Manning was supportive of losing Marshall IF ....(you fill in the blank) , and so we made the move. Maybe Philbin presented to Peyton our PLAN and wanted his OK with it?

Heres another one...what if we traded up for LUCK? Faulk mentioned our owner could want to do that too - saying Tannenhill and Flynn arent going to put butts in the seats. Washington did it, why cant we?? If we acquire any more picks then this starts to build momentum.

Ah i just dont know...................

Yeah I saw the interview by Marshall Faulk and he seemed to be one of the only people on the NFL Network who felt the Phins were still in the hunt for Manning and that we would be a great fit. He also felt that one of the reasons we moved Marshall is because Manning may have hinted that he didn't want to play with a headcase like Marshall. Marshall may also have been moved just because he wore out his welcome for Philbin and Ireland and now the Bears can deal with his mental issues. The Phins rarely seem to get any good news, but maybe we still have a shot at Manning. I don't think it is the end of the world if we don't get Manning, but Manning would probably bring other talented guys to Miami, and there would be less empty seats. We'll see what happens.

It's over.

Peyton to DENVER.
Tebow to JAX.
RG3 to WASH.
Brandon Marshall to CHI.
Flynn to CLE.
Miami drafts a pass rushing DE.

Miami learns to love Matt Moore and we talk about how Clyde Gates has potential.

Since when do we take pass rushers? We'll take another 3-4 DE.

Indy has some serious problems all over the team...they could really use a massive plate of picks like the Rams just got. I think they could want to follow the Rams lead after seeing the goldmine the Rams got. Do they HAVE to address QB is the draft THIS YEAR? NO.....but if they did - Tannenhill, Weeden, etc...but realisticly theyll be picking in the top5 next year and could get their man then.

spice. you can order it all over the internet ;):lol2:

Get over this pipe dream already. Indy is taking Luck. End of story. Won't even pick up the phone on potential Luck trades.

I wonder if they would even think about doing it if we traded our entire draft to them. And an additional 1st. And a player.

And a hand job.

Pipedream is right. If we wanted Luck we had our chance to get him and completely ****ed it up to the glee of some moronic fans. That ship has sailed; I'm going to hate watching the Colts for the next decade knowing what could have been.

There is absolutely,100% positively no way the Colts dont take Luck, and honestly to even suggest it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, plain and simple !!!

The Colts have seen what we,the Dolphins have went through since losing Marino, and Irsay is to smart to not get Luck, thats why he released Payton in the 1st place,he knew this guy was going to be the future for the nexr 14,15 years like Manning was. They get him, then they build around him the way they did Manning way back then, but you DO NOT,NOT DRAFT LUCK,that is STUPID !!!
