Im going to the Fins-Pats game this sunday, so 'what if ' we beat them and we are 2 and 3 and the Pats are 3 and 2, and 'what if ' we win the following week and the Pats lose and then we are both 3 and 3 and in a tie for first place huh? WHAT IF..............................................................Ok ok I can already see the responses comin in saying WHAT IF maybe I must have fell and bumped my head this morning...Well Im not givin up that hope yet..C'mon I gotta go into hostile territory with all my Patriot A'hole fan buddies and put up a good fight. I neede some hope to hold on too..

I honestly believe we will be the Pats and the 2 games after that, the Jets and Packers, but then in Week 9 after our bye, that's where it ends when we play Chicago.
 
It's possible.
We've always played New England very well, perhaps better than anyone else over the last few years. Brady's QB rating against Miami is in the 50's I believe and we've intercepted him 8 times in the last four games (maybe more, that was just off the top of my head). Couple Brady's struggling (if you can call it that) with the fact that their receiving corps is thin and we might put up a fight on defense..... if we can stop the run, which I've felt we've done ok so far this year.
On offense, their defensive backs have been hit by injuries again but they always seem to stay on the same page regardless of personnel so I won't predict a big game for Daunte. Their defensive line is very strong and capable of making plays, Seymour, Wilfork and Warren are guys to watch out for.
Even when we've lost to New England the past few years it's been close games and if nothing else, very enjoyable to watch.

you guys kill me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we almost lost vs the titans and then lost vs the texans and you think we will beat the pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:sidelol: :sidelol: dude we had to try a trick play vs the darn texans for the 2 point conversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!that was a play byu would try playing usc!!!!!! come on man put down the aqua sun glasses and the orange kool aid we are not going to beat the pats or the jets!!!!!! and yes i am a dolphin fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh, I am not drinking the Koolaid, and I don't believe that "hope" is an effective strategy, BUT I would like to remind you that the year we went 4-12, we beat the Pats on Monday night football. That was one of our wins, and I personally believe we could beat the Pats every member of the current Dolphins team, INCLUDING the coaching staff, puts together a solid game.

I think they are going to beat the Pats this Sunday just because the games between the two are always close and NE is easy to shut down this year.
 
why cant we beat the pats? you people call yourselves fans? we are a team designed to play teams closely. we stay in games. we dont take commanding leads, but we are in the games in the fourth quarter. all it takes is for this oline to gel, and daunte will have time to get the ball off. all it takes is a turnover, or ronnie getting a hole. how can you say its impossible? if our secondary doesnt f*** evrything up again we can beat anyone. we wouldve beaten pitt if the secondary doesnt give up an 80 yd td.

I am a fan, specifically the kind who knows that this team has everything to prove and nothing to show with our gameplay up until this point. What ifs don't win football games, getting on the field and executing wins football games. I'm still cheering, I'm just not getting caught up in the possiblities. I'm looking at the now.
