Ok say that Nick Saban was just playing tricks with the media and the Patriots by brining up this story that Culpepper has a sore right shoulder that popped up out of no where that he suffered against the Bills and refusing to say if Daunte or Joey will start sunday just to get the Pats to focus on Joey thinking that he will start and throwing DC into the starting lineup to throw off there game plan? I know it sounds a little crazy but hey..its possible

Sure

Doubtful

This team has enough internal distractions. I don't think Saban would add to them with silly games like that.:rolleyes2

The problem with this is Daunte practiced with the first teamers Tuesday and Wednesday, Joey practiced with the first teamers Thursday, Daunte practiced first teamers Friday, and then Friday night, after both teams had installed and already practiced their gameplans, Saban opened up the possibility that Harrington might start. The Pats preperation for Harrington couldn't be anything more than talk as Saturday's are used for walk throughs. Not to question the great Nick Saban but wouldn't it make more sense to just choose the starter, for a struggling offense, on Tuesday and let him take every snap with the first teamers leading up to the biggest game of the season so far. Seems like common sense to me. This wishy washy approach could be disasterous. If we are any good, we sholdn't need smokescreens and mind games to play "winning football".

im glad culpep has a sore shoulder, cause this is the only way we are going to be able to actually see what harrington can do. i was never a big culpepper fan(would have rather had brees), but i wanted him to do great. his numbers are decent, but very misleading. now i hope harrington steps in and tears it up and takes over the starting job cause daunte aint getting it done.

Well I'm a Culpepper supporter but will cheer for whoever is playing QB for Miami as the team winning is much more important to me than being right. With that being said Carr and Harrington came into the NFL in the same year (2002) up until this point their numbers have been comparable. Carr is just breaking out now, maybe the same will happen for Joey. This is not what I believe just food for thought.

Harrington had much less to work with in Detroit than he does here in Miami. I think that, if given a chance, he can be the best starting QB we've had since Marino.

That said, I expect him to suck hard against the Patriots tomorrow.

"im glad cpep has a sore shoulder" ... ?????????????????????????????????????????? thats just not something a true fan would say

I really don't see what you mean. Anyone can see our O-Line is our #1 problem... how can you say harrington doesn't have any work to do here??

if you buy a tape and watch a game over, you will easily see that Culpepper is under more pressure than any QB in the entire NFL! simply then watch a different NFL game, and look how much time their QB gets to pass! the stats prove it.... our O-Line is the worst in the league in pass protection

Of course, if we LOSE the game tomorrow with Joey starting, the "O-Line Excuse" will suddenly disappear. All of the Daunte fans will blame everything on the QB, nobody say nuthin about the O-Line anymore. Just watch!

Big whoop, the Patriots dont care! They are ready to play whoever is Qb and that is what makes them a Championship Team!

that makes no sense, since our O-Line is also the worst in the league #32 in rushing stats. both YPA, and amount of times tackled behind the line of scrimmage. I know the qb is not the problem here... being #32 O-Line in passing and #32 O-Line in rushing in EVERY statistic is the problem...

i would like to think that we are a different and better team than detroit we wanna see how joey can go for the phins not the lions

Be interesting to see how Joey performs but C-Pepp is the one we plan to build around. Best case scenario, Joey plays out of his skin and Miami win some games and then come draft time Joey gets traded for a high pick.
