What IF?????
Brady Quinn @ #9
Dwayne Jarrett @ #40

No matter how they spin it, Beck(26) isn't better than Quinn, and Ginn(hurt) isn't a starting receiver in this league, at least not right away......and returners can be picked up later in the draft, or as undrafted free agents without question.

Randy & Cam...... YOU'RE KILLING ME!!!!!! :french:

Looks pretty even to me. Also Quinn NEVER won a big game..

hey i agree with you 100% the draft was a joke Ginn(9) and Beck(40) even though Beck is #3 QB in the draft Quinn is supposed to be a franchise QB

Simple math.

Quinn = over rated. Beck is better and came cheaper. Not to mention Cam and Randly clearly did NOT want Quinn.

Ginn > Jarrett. Ginn can spread the defense and draw double coverage. He will help greatly in the return game. Jarrett is Mike Williams light.

I think you meant "THE BIG GAME" as in a Championship right? He won plenty of Big games at ND.

Hmmm, I also recall the same being said of Marino in Pitt...and Marino's final year @ Pitt was a bit of a nightmare. That and the pot rumors let him fall to us at 27. :D

If we take ....

#9 QB Quinn
#40 WR Jarrett
#60 C Samson
#71 RB Booker

....then we may be the draft day darlings right now, instead of the question marks again.

Overall it's a good 1st day. He's to some more O-Line, TE, and Defense work in day 2.

but we didnt, get over it, move on. we got ginn probably the fastest player the draft and will give us an x factor on offense and in the return game. and beck who alot of people like more than quinn and from clips ive seen of him, throws a very good ball.

While i myself would have rather have taken quinn, i am not heart broken now that i have really analyzed what we have done, i think we had a solid 1st day draft and one of the best in recent memory.

OKAY QuINN NEVER WON HOW ABOUT the fact that NDs defence never helped him win the so called big one. tell me how often has ginn won the big one. why didnt he win it for Ohio state? simple because you dont put it on one persons shoulders unless you are bashing them. picking ginn was a major reach. HE ISNT EVEN HEALTHY, and wont be cleared to play for at least 6 weeks. who says he wont reinjure his foot (dont give me the who says whoever else we picked doesnt get injured, once you injure tendons and ligaments THEY ARE NEVER THE SAME, that why once you sprain your ankle you sprain it over and over again, and lets not even go to the mental aspect of getting hurt)

this pick was stupid, we had more pressing concerns then a small kick returner, we could have gotten that a lot cheaper then ginns gonna be, and the guy we pick up will probobly be able to play from Day one, no be walking in a cast

How many big games has Beck won? What was the level of competition for Quinn at Notre Dame and Beck at BYU? Not to mention that fact that Quinn is younger and taller than Beck it sure as hell doesn't seem like the Ginn pick was as good a value as we could get at that spot.

So it was all his fault that they lost to USC two years ago? WRONG. It was the defense. Think about this: he almost orchestrated a win over the best team in the nation with not even half the talent that USC had. Quinn will be something special and Dolphins FO will once again kick themselves in the *** for not taking him.

Best in recent memory?!? What are you talking about? We got Ronnie Brown and Channing Crowder just a couple of years ago. This draft had the POTENTIAL to be the best ever, and instead we got a punt returner (by our own coach's admission) and a question mark at QB.
