This is just a what if question..

What would happen to the Wildcat Offense IF Ronnie Brown went down... Is this why Pat White was drafted? To act as a back-up to Ronnie Brown??

I don't think he was brought in to back up Ronnie, but work along side him, just my opinion.

Problem is with the trade for Thigpen, Miami might have a better option then White (for now at least) in the Wildcat, got to hope that White catches up real quick or is ready next year, because no matter how well Thigpen works out in the Wildcat, he will never be as Dynamic or explosive as White could be.

I think he was brought in the be a back up QB that can run the Wildcat to give it a throwing option. However he is behind the power curve (not a bust) right now and not where he should be to be trusted with consistantly running it, or he would be out there. Ronnie is obviously still the best choice and Pat hasn't done anything yet to prove otherwise. What cracks me up is the people on here who were argueing pretty passionately about White being the starter if Penny went down ... LMAO ...Really? ...Really? It just goes to show you how personal desire will over ride common sense sometimes.
