What is an On Field Jersey?

My dad just bought me a Brown jersey, and the tag says On Field.

So what does this mean? Is it authentic? Better, worse?

Im guessing on field means it was "on the field", probably game worn?

It's just another tag that they put on it, usually on authentic jerseys. I'm not sure why. It may just be to confuse people.

It's the equivalent of an authentic. Supposedly an exact replica (though not like the replica jerseys with screened on numbers) of the jersey's they wear on the field, though not necessarily cut the same way. They have sewn numbers and are generally heavier. Real game worn jerseys are often longer, can have shorter sleeves, are sometimes narrower, or may have velcro on the bottome to keep them from pulling out of the pants. And if you're really lucky...it's grass stained. lol

there are 3 types of jerseys: youth, on field and authentic..
the size of the "youth" jerseys is like a normal t-shirt that you wear and normally chaeper..but if you buy an "on field" jersey you should be cautious..if you normally wear size large than you should buy medium because reebok takes account of the shoulderpads and so on..so the "on field" jerseys are bigger than the size you would normally wear..
an authentic jersey is always an on field jersey but it is the same that the players wear in the game..
