What part of the team played the best last night? What was the most improved part of the team?

I think that the starting D line was much improved. We got good pressure tonight, and collapsed the pocket quickly. Special teams are also a lot better in one week.

The starting secondary looked the best. They had good coverage and made Ben R. good to his second receiver several times.

We may see it next week at the Stadium.....the CHEERLEADERS ! :D

Definitely the defensive line. In fact, the best one year infusion of new talent on the defensive front I can remember in 30+ years of following the team. We are much more talented and versatile. IMO Dolphin fans tend to understate how pathetic and vulnerable our defensive linemen were as a group last season. Saban prioritized correctly. Admittedly there are some short term additions there, but that's what the NFL has become.

1. The 1st team defense was fantastic, specifically the DL and LB.
2. Most improved? As in since the previous preseason games? Probably the defense once again- seems to be gelling and also playing more and more complicated schemes.
3. As far as most improved since last year, I agree with DL, but I also love the additions to the LB group, specifically Crowder and Spragan. I think they are both playing terrific football. I dont miss Morlon Greenwood, especially at that price. I just think the overall team depth is also better, and I like our group of WRs much better as well. The addition of Boston, Booker adjusted to life in Miami, and some promising young talent in Welker, Maurice Mann and Josh Davis. I see improvement there too, even though they played terribly last night.

i love how solid and how much depth the DL has this year. they have made an improvement since last year. as far as their DBs, they could use a little work. i'm hopin that travis daniels can step up and be a playmaker in the near future and not be a flop like will poole.

You guys forgot about RB..Last year we had Travis Minor starting games for us when Sammy Morris was injured..
Now we have Brown, Williams, and Morris which I think is a major improvement from last year.

Of the pictures I have seen of camp this year, I must say I get chills at the look Zack has in his eyes. He has a look like he has something to prove. I believe that this will rub off on the defense and they will have the year they have had in a long time. They look faster to the backfield me. In what little they have played in the games so far I have been very impressed with them and I cant wait until the season starts so they be unleashed.

RB is the most improved by far

Then I think LB with Spragan and Crowder

D-Line is 3rd, although you would have to judge it against the last year's team with a healthy Bowens and Chester. You can't count them out when comparing the units.

Then O-line because I do not have to watch McIntosh anymore. If only McKinney was benched also ...

The least improved or untits which got worse:
DB - easy call
