Why do I read people here want Moran to be our next coach. Isn't this the idiot that said he would run back to coach college without even have the job open to him?

The more I read on our candidates , the more I think we have some crappy options. I'm starting to think we should leave Capers as HC and hire a real O-coordinator.

Well, I think many are putting too much into that statement about him coaching college. If he wanted to coach college he would and it would be a lot easier to do so.

I do agree about having Capers over Mora. He's got more experience. Yeah, when you look at Capers' record, it's miserable, but he wasn't with the best of teams in Houston.
 
My point exactly he muxt have really convivnced the FO that he wouldnt be considering the college opening to even still be consdidered.
 
out of 12 or so people we interviewed Mora was somewhere around 10 on my list. Of course that's who's going to be our next coach. the nightmare continues
 
Mora did nothing in ATL, and he had a QB. Imagine with the QB mess we have...

I will MUCH prefer Capers... In fact, I be happy with anyone they hire over Mora, even..... oh Damn it, i hate to say it..... Mularkey..NOOOO!!!!!!

Man doesnt suck to continually have this feeling in our guts as dolphin fans that it seems like we are the only ones who have to go through this ####
man I hope and pray its not mora because this search looked so promising i figured after interviewing that many people we couldnt screw it up...
 
Why does things like this always happen to our franchise? We get an amazing runningback that leads the leauge in rushing and what does he do? Retires only to come back and than leave us again. We go out and hire a coach who we think is going to lead us to the promise land and what happens next? He quits on us too? Now when we need a coach there are no good candidates. When is the madness going to end for the Dolphins? I thought Miami was one of the best places to be.
 
I think Mora was sick of atlanta and having the burden of the Vick myth. The college statement was a semi conscious blunder to sabatoge his employement with the falcons

Are you referring to Schaub? I know you can't mean the RB Vick he is NO QB!!!:shakeno:

When did Mora have a QB in Atlanta?

Jim Mora went 26-22 in Atlanta with a glorified running back playing the quarterback position.
 
i don't want mora, and i don't see why there is so much interest in him. i want an offensive coach that has a scheme to stretch the field vertically. chan gailey scares me also , his offenses didn't exactly set the acc on fire. i don't want capers to have the job either,he is a great def cord lets leave it at that. my favorite was cameron and everyone says he has great talent in SD. doesn't every great coordinator have great players in their scheme ? what seperates them is knowing when and how to best utilize their talents.

This place never ceases to amaze me. Apparently, it's terrible if the Dolphins hire a coach that actually has a winning record as a head coach, but everyone jumps up and down for joy when the name Cam Cameron comes up despite the fact that he is the one candidate on the list that has a losing record as a head coach.

Vick is not a good QB, he's a good player, but noa QB. The one thing I'll give Mora credit for is he came out and said he wanted to put Schaub at QB and play Vick at RB, but Vick complained to the owner about that.

I don't think he'll have the same type of problems here he did in Atlanta (if he' our new head coach) mainly because JT and Zach are good leaders.

Really? What QB in Atlanta? I know you're not talking about the overhyped Vick. And can you please explain what Capers has done in his two head coaching gigs that makes him a better choice than Mora?
