with the first pick in the 2007 draft what is miami's approach?


1- Draft Ginn to Bolster this lack-luster Offense & also helping our return game.

2- Draft at stud like Gaine Adams LB/DE to add to our already good defense for the future.

3- Draft a shutdown corner like Revis/Hall to solidafy a defensive back field thats been lacking fear in other teams eyes since Mad/Surtain left....

4- Draft either QB's Quinn/Stanton/T.Smith to have as the future an 07's backplan if Pepp doesnt workout.

I figure we have a Offensive minded coach now so he mightr go O in the 1st round but u cant deny we need on the other side as well...damn what will Cam do i cant wait till the Draft....

To draft the best player available that will most impact this football team, that is still being evaluated.

Regarding the coach, don't forget we do have a GM with considerable say in who we pick, which is why I think the first thing I said will apply.
 
quinn will drop i agree..why u say..

1-russel 1st
2-thomas to detroit cause they have kitna whos decent he threw 4000yds
3-browns need a.peterson
the rest dont need a qb and quinn then might fall to us ...buuuuuuuuuuuuuut will cam settle with pepp and draft ginn or Db's?
 
I don't see why Quinn would fall, he has all the tools and has been coached up by Weis. he was looking like a lock for the #1 overall and now he is dropping to us at #9? he goes #3 at worst
 
Who cares about Quinn unless he falls to the second round or we trade down. Troy Smith is also not the answer, so why does his name show up so much (by the way I am a buckeye fan and I believe he is not the answer nor the future of any team).

multiple problems with what you said, first off Ginn has horrible value at the #9 spot. secondly Browns could use a RB but they need a QB more, Fyre isn't what they had hoped and RBs are easier to find later on than QBs. you find a good QB you take him

Anchor the Oline with Levi Brown!
 
ok so why dont the browns give more than one yr chance to prove hes the brown qb ..so your saying that a young QB only gets one year to prove himself comon u cant honestly say that the browns offense wont be decent with this lineup....

i say quinn drops depending who is gone we c who we grab ...n ginn is last years reggie bush look at the fil...

I'd like the team to once and for all fix the offensive line.

LT- Levi Brown, Alabi
LG- Kris Dielman, Toledo
C- Ryan Kalil, McKinney for cheap
RG- Hadnot, Shelton
RT- Carey

not everyone is Brees and Brees got lucky that SD stuck with him that long, usually a QB is given 3 years max. Frye has had 2 years already and hasn't shown much to warrent sticking with him
 
i dont want quinn or ginn...

the earlier poster was correct when he said "quinn was coached up". if he didnt have weis coaching him hed be just an average qb

ginn is very imcomplete as a WR. his hands arent good, he doestn run good routes, and hes is so undersized that he cant do anything in the middle of the field. if youa re going to take a WR in the top-10, he better a COMPLETE one. KR/PR abilities help his stock, but i dont think hes top ten worthy.

id like to take branch at 9, or maybe even levi brown
 
1st off frye 1st year was the last 4 games then the next year some injurys but a full decent learning season he should be mint this year u know 2900 20 td's ...remember he missed 3 games and had more rushing td's than any QB in the league id say thats decent ..also he had no RB, n winslow n edwards were hurt for portions of the year ...not even manning would do good in that situation....
