1) Miami has gotten so much luck this year and not been able to capitalize on it. THREE onside kicks recovered in one season? How often does that happen? SD missing an easy field goal to win the goal. Then, the Jets missing one next week.

2) The Patriots continue to get lucky week in and week out.

If Miami just takes care of Tampa and Oakland at home they’re sitting pretty at 8-6 right now. But the refs were terrible in both those games

How were they bad in Oakland?

And the safety didn't really affect the game. It would have been 23-22

For me what I find sad is the fan base. Calling for Gase's head after a playoff year without his chosen quarterback under center is laughable at best. The man is now 1-1 in the playoff appearances. How could you possibly be mad at that? 1-2? 1-3? Ok. That makes way more sense. But 1-1 is a break even.

This team suffered a lot of injuries before the season started, a hurricane that forced them to play 16 straight games and promoting a new defensive coordinator. Oh and signing an interception happy quarterback. No one seems to want to step back and consider the whole picture. I am not saying I am happy with the way the season has gone, not by a long shot, but the outrage this fan base has shown this season comes off as equal to the rage of Philbin in his last year with the team.

this season was doomed from the preseason and offseason. During the game yesterday, the commentator said Gase though the issue with the Oline was scheme , not personnel. LOL. Also, not only skipping surgery for RT, but not getting a young, potential replacement. Worst case, we could have had this crappy season, but actually developed a qb and had real qb competition next year. But Miami tends to shy away from things like the

I can understand the disappointment but this season can't be a shock by any stretch of the imagination. We knew our Oline was suspect from day one, we lost our starting QB and others, (injuries on this team was nothing short of fascinating) we saw how Gase was picking up player well pass their prime to plug holes on offense and defense to have some semblance of a team on opening day. The team was never as good as advertised.
Positives: Many of our younger players have really stepped up these last few games, another good draft and the Phins will be better a lot better.

The season was over before it started the minute RT went down. Its a QB driven league. I consider this a redshirt season.
I prepared for the worse, but hoped for the best with JC, but he’s too damned inconsistent.
