every team that we have lost to have had an identity... the jet had farve, the texans had andre johnson, the cards had their high powered pass offense, the baltimore ravens had their everlasting great defense. So, what is seattles identity? Does miami actually have the edge in talent?

Nothing, they are horrible. They have no receivers and their running game doesn't scare anyone. If we don't beat them by 14 I'll be disappointed.

It is hard to come up with some bright spots on them this year, especially when Matt Hasselbeck is out.

They otherwise have a couple of exciting players, but as the team has played, it does not seem they have done it quite well this year.

Are we meeting them away or home? Because the 12 man effect could make some trouble for us if we are playing them away.

They don't have anything.

Seneca sucks, their WRs are garbage, their D is terrible.

Need I go on?

In a way, I had the urge to respond: to lose ...

They have a number of good players, but they are pretty demoralized. I would be too if I was 2-6 and all I had to look forward to next year was Jim Mora Jr. We do have a tendency to play bad against bad teams, however, and we haven't faced a mobile like Seneca yet. We should win the game, but we don't have the kind of team that can afford to overlook anyone.

their db's are strong and love to jump routes.
Strong LB core.
But right now they are a mess

Seattle is really good at raining 9 months out of the year.....oh you mean the Seahawks? Losing to Miami, they are about to perfect that this week.

I was just about to post a similar thread!

Seneca Wallace is an unknown. The Seattle fansites sound like ours arguing about Beck/Lemon/Fiedler/whoever, where poor passing is alternately blamed on the QB or the WRs. Seneca apparently played well against the 9ners.

Positives - They can sack the QB decently (upper middle of the pack). They can run the ball with Julius Jones decently as well (they run a lot too). They don't make many penalties (are better then us at that, and we are pretty good!)

Their passing O sucks - they are towards the bottom of the league in total offense, passing offense, first down passes, total receptions, are about 50% on completions, etc.

Their TO according to NFL.com (i don't know if it was updated for yesterday's game) is -3.

Their passing D sucks too - They are sadly tied (again according to NFL.com) with us for numbe 1 in the league in receptions allowed over 20 yards. The yare tied with lions with 8 passes over 40 yards (we are at number 2 with 7). We seem to be improving though... Their run D isn't terrible, but that could be misleading because of their pass d.

They have Olindo Mare who has been playing well.

That;s just a few thoughts although I haven't really watched them play so it is guess work for me.

Well, the snide answer I would give is losing, but I wouldn't take them lightly. So far this season our streaks have come in two's so hopefully we'll buck that trend.

We're a young team that can easily start to feel full of themselves if the coaches aren't watchful. It wasn't that long ago that this team couldn't tackle a one legged man and everyone was ready to cut the entire secondary..

Cofee and Grunge Rock. Other than that, not much
