What is tha game day routine for players?

Like when they are traveling do they all meet up at Miami International and board the flight or is there some kind of structure to this? Also when they arrive in whatever city they are playing in what do they do? And what is the routine for home games? Dont they stay in a hotel the night before or something? Someone with good knowledge of the above please give a nice detailed answer. I've always thought about that..

Well, for home games I think most teams have their players stay in their own homes ... Sleep in their own beds & get a good night's sleep kinda thing.

I think: they have a Team flight and also are allowed to get to the city on their own. Cant smoke pot and eat poopies on the plane. so some are allowed to drive, fly, train thier own way to away games.

Most teams (Fins included) stay in a hotel the night before home games and have cufrews/ bed-checks. The Fins fly out of FLL and I think the procedure is to meet at the team facility and take a bus to the airport. I think alot of their time the day before the game is spent in meetings and resting up... although you may see a few players out on the town grabbing some dinner.
