What is the excuse now homers??

So I guess the "haters" are happy we are losing. Hooray, the Dolphins lost! Hooray, the season is likely over after three games! Hooray, you get to say I told you so because the Dolphins lost! Does ripping fans who chose to support the team and root for them to win instead of spending ever minute over the Summer pissing and moaning make you feel better?

Yes you win, the Dolphins are struggling and likely will start ANOTHER rebuilding project with ANOTHER regime. It sucks, but hey, you get to bash other fans of the SAME TEAM. Grow up!

So your hater if saw this coming from a mile away? You sound like a person who can't take it that you were wrong, so you attack the people who are right. Nobody wants to see this, if fact the very people you call haters, wanted to avoid this. What was your comment? Sparano will be coaching this team in 2012. I guess some people just can't admit they were wrong. Don't feel bad, there are plenty of us in this world who are not perfect. Join us in hoping that this era comes to an end, and we get competent people in here, to get us back to being franchise we once were.

Dude, get over yourself. No true Dolphin fan is happy about this. Yeah, like haters really rather gloat on a freakin message board than to have the Dolphins win. This "rebuilding" you keep complaining about, is going to happen, needs to happen, the sooner the better. If they pulled the plug last season next season could be year 2 of the new FO instead of year 1.

Haters my azz, we seen it and knew that a change needed to be made. We hate seeing our great franchise being run into the ground. Where are the 10 wins some people were predicting???? Are we happy???? Hell no!!!! We want this team back where it belongs, on top of the AFC!!!!!!!!!!!!

The excuses have been worthless for a while, yet homers still recycle them. I saw a guy blame Henne's incompetence in the redzone on the playcalling....AGAIN. We changed OCs, get the same results, and yet still blame the play calling instead of the execution of the plays. Dont blame Henne overthrowing guys in the endzone on the reg, blame the playcall. Its a ****ing joke.

And of course that schedule bs can go out the window now. We just lost to one of the worst teams in the league. But, Im sure someone will suggest the Browns are a good team because they are 2-1. I can promise you if the Browns didnt play one of the ****tiest teams in the league today, they would be 1-2. And I can promise you by years end, the Browns will be a sub .500 team. Yet, they are better than us. They have beaten us twice in the last few regular season games now. And they were missing their best offensive player today. Unreal.

You didnt see the Bills using the strength of the Pats offense as an excuse to lose today did ya? Hell naw. Instead they manned up and made plays. The got critical INTs on Brady, matched their scoring, and used superior game management at the end to seal the win. Thats how its done.

That's bull****. It is the playcalling right now. Daboll doesn't have a clue once he is inside the 20. I will give you that Henne's execution inside the 20 is worthless though. I hope to never see another fade from him ever again, because he just can't throw it. But overall, the playcalling inside the 20 was better with Henning than Daboll.

So name the people that said we had the best cb's tandem in the league after 2 games.

I can name the person who argued with everyone that they weren't...;-)

It's amazing how all these amateurs on a message board are experts in NFL offensive play-calling.

No, you grow up Nubs. Your the one acting like a child. We don't like the fact that we suck anymore than you. What we don't like even more is somehow being the bad guys because we were right about these morons. Is it our fault these guys are the biggest jokers since the Three Stooges. No...but don't lay that fact at our feet...

No, I can take it when I am wrong. But what I can't take is those who relish in misfortune of others. The Dolphins are bad right now, we are on the verge of another losing season and another regime change. There are some that seem to take joy in that and go out of their way to kick other fans of the same team during this depressing time. That is what I have a problem with.

I chose to root for my team and support them going into this season. I had high expectations because this team does have talent and it is year four of this regime. I expected 9 wins and a possible trip to the playoffs. Having high expectations and being supportive is not being a homer. Being a homer would be me saying everything is going great right now and we can still make the playoffs. Being supportive and rooting for your team to win every week, despite your views on certain players of coaches is what a fan should be like. I don't blame people for calling out certain players or coaches, but I do have a problem with people actively ROOTING against the team and hoping they fail, and than take pleasure when they do. I think Dan Carpenter is a bum and has been since the second Bills game last year. Though when he lines up for a field goal or extra point, I cheer him on. I don't high five or bash other Dolphins fans because he misses, it pisses me off and upsets me.

The Sparano era is about over, and may be less than 10 days from ending. A failed regime and starting over again is depressing to me and disappointing. Sorry if I don't take joy in this team losing, I guess I am just a homer.

What you call a "hater" is likely pragmatism. I'm not idealistic about this team - many people here clearly aren't.

Maybe it's optimism versus pessimism. All I can say is I'm not surprised with the results we've seen on the field so far. There was no evidence this off-season/preseason to substantiate a different outcome. I'm not hating I'm just seeing what I expected; an inconsistent, sometimes unprepared, and often undisciplined team. It's a product of coaching and culture.

Starting over is much better than the alternative Nubs, which is sticking with guys who are just out of their depth.

You may feel depressed at the prospect of rebuilding, but you now know how some were feeling when Sparano was given a contract extension in January.

I wish the same things for this team as you Nubs. My feeling all along was jus that it wasn't going to happen with the current coach and FO. But lets talk about something positive. How about that daniel thomas, i like this kid.

I used the term "hater" because that is the term used by many in a battle people called "Haters Vs Homers". If I am supposedly in the "Homer" group, that is what the other group is called.

Get over yourself it was you and the HOMERS that made this out to be a Hatfields vs McCoy feud. You know Nublar some of us real fans saw this train wreck coming years ago! We refused to wear blinders and ignore the obvious! Yes we are rebuilding again, but only because this team was never built!

Nublar man I dont know you personally but I've been around these parts for awhile and you where here even before me. I remember the awesome videos you make/used to make. So there's no doubt in my mind you love this team.

As far as I go, I believe that I love the team just as much brother. I have had this team in my life every year since I was 4 so they are pretty much the definition of NFL for me. Its the Dolphins (my team) and then everyone else.

I dont think anyone here thats a true fan really wanted to see this team lose today or at any point in time. No one here is happy about that that is a true fan. What may seem like happiness is really a desire to get rid of a set amount of personel that they believe are holding the team back from getting back to its winning ways.

I dont have time right now to get into details and my wife is hounding me to GTFO, but let me just say that many wanted a change to the OC position last year and got it. But the team was having many more issues that extend beynd that. From coaching, to QB play, to FS play and many, MANY other issues that we've constantly had for years and they just dont get fixed. They get patched up. Like patching a bullet hole with a band-aid, it 'aint gonna hold, your going to bleed out.

So my point is, that I dont think people are happy but rather maybe relieved to an extent that hopefully the future will soon bring renewed hope for the return of the glory days where there seems to be none right now.
