What are the criteria for the MVP award? Is it the most valuable person to the league in general? Is it the player who holds the most value relevant to his prospective team? a combination of the two? I was just wondering. Anybody know for sure?

lol... not when Peyton Manning exists...

But Tony Romo definitely deserves it this year... everyone saw how they came apart when he was injured... and he is a baller as well.

yea but think about it...we were 1-15 last year...Chad comes in with a young receiving corps and now were playoff contenders. Noone thought we would be as good as we are. Analysts were probably pickin us to only win 3 or 4 games. I think Chad should get MVP. Its only right.

I get your point but then Kerry Collins should be the MVP cause his team has the best record and they were dreadful last year. Not as bad as us but bad enough.

I think the reason we turned it around was because of our staff not Pennington, so they're definitely gonna over look him.

I'm telling you right now... Tony Romo is this year's MVP... he is on "America's team"... on prime time every other week and he performs very well.

Techincally its the person most valuable to thier team.

But in reality, it is basically whoever puts up the best stats on the year. If there are no amazing stats in a season it usually goes to a big namer. IE Peyton, Brady, Favre

I dunno, Romo has a good running game and TO, Roy Williams, and Witten to throw to. Yes Romo is better then his backup QB who didn't get many reps in practice. But Romo has a lot of help.

How many wins does Indy get without Manning?

Don't know the criteria, but I DO in fact know the criteria in order to get to the pro bowl. You have to be in your late 30's, have to be in Wrangler jeans commercials, have a HORRIBLE cameo appearance in the movie "There's Something About Mary", lead the league in intereceptions, have an average passer rating, AND wear Green and White....difficult to have all the requirements but it can be accomplished

This is a good point. Especailly after last night. But a few weeks ago I saw manning face the browns and put up 3 points the whole game. Manning may not have a better running game then us but he does have better WRs to throw. Honestly its hard to say.
