What is the NFL's infatution with the Black Eyed Peas?

Someone must have convinced them they don't suck because they put them on every year for something. Them and Mary J. Blige, she's alright but not really for football. They need to start having some metal bands. IMHO

Its simple numbers really, it relates with the more youth crowd as in people in their 20's to 30's. How many people are actually heavy metal fans at football games?? I could probably count on one hand how many metals songs that are played in every NFL stadium through out the season.

Now it would certainly get us some good exposure if the NFL's favorite band was to buy some Dolphin ownership. Fergie, Will.i.am...I'm looking at you...

Most of those I would not classify as Heavy Metal bands, other then Metallica and possibly Ozzy. Most are Rock by standards, but I do not picture most of them when Heavy Metal is mentioned.

I seen that overzealous bear at Chucky Cheese come out to that song at my niece's third birthday party last month. Effing bear terrorized all the little kids in that suit. Must be the greatest part-time gig in the history of ever.

I remember hearing that and just literally busting out laughing. I think I used that line for like 3 weeks. It's so damn ridiculous. "Sir, I apologize but you're a sort of 3000 and late on that payment".
