What is up with Tannehill and dolphins defense?

I didn't get to watch game as I was at work, but 34-15 does not sound like the defense did that great. Is it the secondary? Alex smith got sacked 5 times, but despite that, they still scored 34 pts on fins, so secondary and bad run defense as it looks like Kniles davis got 132 yards rushing on fins. And is it WRs dropping passes or is tannehill being inconsistent with his accuracy again? 200 yards, but 21 out of 43 completions? That's like 50% completion right? that's terrible in general, but especially for a pro qb to be throwing.
 
In short this team is the SAME OLD DOLPHINS. That should help you understand what happened today.
 
Through 3 quarters I thought the QB was fine. There were drops. 4th quarter, pass protection broke down and so did the QB.

Bottom line: QB and Defense did not play well. Coaching the biggest issue, IMO. Defense was put in spots to fail.

Basically or unfortunately, it's going to most likely be another 7-9 or 8-8 season for fins again? Hello mediocrity.
 
Well Hennehill sucks and the defense got tired! That is all.

I was more bullish than anyone here on this team. I thought this team legitimately had the talent to win 11 games.

This looked like a 4 win team today. Offense couldn't get out of it's own way, defense has demonstrated that it has absolutely no depth whatsoever, and the kick coverage teams are garbage. Even Brandon Fields looked bad. This team will have a new coaching staff in 2015.

The only thing I will say is this: the ray of hope is that we have a number of key players coming back from injury or suspension soon. Trusnik is AWFUL and the only reason he's playing is that we have FOUR injured linebackers.

"Defense got tired". What happened last week when they let the Bills score a TD after they were off the field for nearly an hour? The defense is as mediocre as the rest of the team.

Do me a favor and look at the 3rd quarter drive chart. We scored 12 points in that quarter. Defense and special teams were responsible for about 90% of that.

Amazing after over a decade Dolphins fans can't realise a bad qb!

Ding, ding, ding.

You can excuse the defense by saying that they are missing 4 starters and Tripp is hurt, forcing Trusnik onto the field. But the 'they were tired!' bit is nonsense. It wasn't 'being tired' that caused Coyle to put his defensive ends on a 6'5" monster tight end or a scatback, giving up big plays.

The ever revolving door of quarterback and head coach....Just can't get either since retirement of Shula and Marino.
