We have a YOUNG team that hasn`t come together yet...we don`t have the veteran leadership we once had...obviously we are not going to win instantly...why not reserve a little judgement for the end of the season...it sounds like some of you were ready for playoff tickets...Until we acquire a solid receiver..possibly another DB and S..start putting more pressure on the QB...and our O line needs to get it together so we can move the frickin ball...Henne is not the answer...lets be PATIENT..see what gels and what doesn`t...

As one of the self-appointed realists here, and I haven't been going off the handle these past 2 weeks, I do have to stick up a bit for some of these posts we see. My supportive statement is this:

I did not expect a miracle......but I CAN tell you, I DID NOT expect to see the size of that pile of manure I saw on the field yesterday! Young and learning is one thing, but yesterday was regression. it had nothing to do with being young and making mistakes. It had to do with bad personnel, bad talent, and bad execution.

Settle the hell down. We were the worst team in NFL history last year, one call away from 0-16. Don't forget that. It takes time to rebuild. And from the looks of it we finally have a franchise QB in Henne. I say bench Chad P by week 5, put Ginn in to return punts and kickoffs, and lets build some confidence.

I would agree with you. We were absolutely terrible yesterday. If we continue to be undiciplined maybe 5-6 games into the season then we have some problems. Its going to take some time from top to bottom to get this thing figured out. We must be patient, it will not happen overnight.

It seems that many expected the Dolphins to become good all of a sudden. We won one frickin game last year (barely, too), and we completely cleaned house. We have more new players on our roster this year than any other team in the league. It's gonna take some time for the current players to get their act together. And even when they do, it's not like we're making the playoffs. We all love the Fins, here, but let's have realistic expectations. We need another draft or two to build some depth, and to add playmaker WRs and DBs. We have a young offensive line that should be solid for the future, a decent crop of RBs and a decent front 7 that will improve with time and more depth. But this turnaround will not be overnight!

What are you talking about? We were 1-15 last year and favorites to win the AFC East this season. Now we lost the first TWO games of the season and all hope is lost. All our young guys are busts and everyone else sucks. Fire Sporano and bring back the stache!

yea.. our team is young and it SUCKS! Doesn't make us less of a fan if we come here to vent. The fact we're even on this board makes most of us pretty diehard fans!.

This is what happens after a loss. And an embarrassing loss as this was. I.. like a majority of us just wanted to see some progress. It not about the wins and losses so much, but it's how we're losing. How many points did we give away on this day? 10? 13? 17? by stupid penaties... unbelieveable.

One day a light bulb will go on for this team, but in the meantime, don't be surprised if a few die hard fans acknowledge the obvious... that we .. no mater how you color it.. SUCK!

Vonnie Holliday, Jason ferguson, Channing Crowder, Akin Ayodele, Joey Porter, Matt Roth, Yeremiah bell, Chris Crocker, Renaldo hill, Andre Goodman, Will Allen....

NONE of them are "young". They are all vets who have played at least 3-4 years in this league. Stop with the Young excuse for them. The only true "young" starter is Langford, and he's arguably been the best damn defensive player we've had in the 2 games.

Uh for your information, our defense is filled with veteran starters except for Langford and he is one of the best players we have. The vets are the guys who are the undisciplined ones and making the huge mistakes every week!!!!
