Tua was injury prone in college and he’s injury prone in the NFL….Meh. First Sanders really isn't that much more athletic (people overrate because of Dad) and he is leass athletic then Tua before the injury.
Now for the massive difference as prospects. 1 throwing with anticipation, Tua in college was on a different level, as he throws guys open, Sanders waiting for guys to come open. Hence the he holds onto.the ball to long knocks on him and a horrible TTT of over 3 seconds. The other major difference downfield throwing. Tua was one of the highest rated passers in the history of college on throws 20+air yards. Sanders was like 50th in college last season on throws 20+air yards and completed only like 24%.
This.....He has average talent, he was horrible in interviews. His entire college career has been daddy ball. He's not going to win a starting job, and no team wants that circus for a backup QB. I feel bad for him, because his dad put him on this pedestal, but they both made this bed.
The best thing he could do is to petition the NCAA and get his final year of eligibility back. Go play somewhere away from his dad and see how he does.
And the Giants spent the most time with Sanders out of all the teams
Milroe went in round 3 too. Anyone saying that is an idiot and shouldn't be taken seriously.and yet so many are trying to make it a race thing...Cam Ward says Hi, be humble kid, tell your dad he's killing your career not helping it.
Unfortunately race baiting (real or perceived) makes money. It get clicks on social media.Milroe went in round 3 too. Anyone saying that is an idiot and shouldn't be taken seriously.
I was thinking the same thing. I could see someone from the Sanders family tee arriving late, and making the whole interview about how much money he’ll be expecting. It's obvious he tanked in interviews. Nobody wants the Sanders circus.
Either there's some Operation Overlord-level collusion going on or he pissed off enough GMs with his interviews and attitude or his tape just wasn't good enough or it's a combination of all three. I almost feel bad for him...almost.
More coachable. Better arm. Better scheme fit. An immeasurable difference in drama and media coverage for a QB3. Need I go on?
Sanders isn't coachable? Sanders seem comparable to Tua so scheme fit isn't an issue. Ill agree with media dramaMore coachable. Better arm. Better scheme fit. An immeasurable difference in drama and media coverage for a QB3. Need I go on?
Sanders below Tua and Wilson on the depth chart is a media circus that eventually turns from train wreck to dumpster fire. At least with McCord you are getting a humble back up who isn’t entitled to anything. Sanders still believes he is going to be a franchise QB. The question is how hard is he willing to work to prove it.
Sanders hasn’t played for anyone but his dad. By all reports, he’s privately entitled. His positions were handed to him by his daddy coach.Sanders isn't coachable? Sanders seem comparable to Tua so scheme fit isn't an issue. Ill agree with media drama
Daddy ball at the highest level.Sanders hasn’t played for anyone but his dad. By all reports, he’s privately entitled. His positions were handed to him by his daddy coach.
He holds the ball too long, wants to improvise too much, doesn’t throw with anticipation which is a sign he doesn’t watch film.
Do you have evidence that he is coachable? Every possible sign points to him not being
Sanders and Tua have similar athletic profiles but do not play or approach the position similarly at allSanders isn't coachable? Sanders seem comparable to Tua so scheme fit isn't an issue. Ill agree with media drama
