What is wrong with Shadeur Sanders

Well, there is a big time victim of NFL's fkn around here, and it cost him $5 million dollars and reputation, brand, exposure, play time. They need to pay for that. More responsibility is needed when they issue those receommendations and opinions to draftees and invite them to first round.

Sanders is not a victim. He allegedly went into meetings with teams and told them he wasn't the right guy for them, he wasn't going to fit what they were trying to do. He spent the whole process assuming he was a top five player, not because the NFL said he was, but because his father made a public statement last year that he WOULD be a top five player. Albert Breer at Sports Illustrated who is very well connected said he didn't talk to a single NFL scout who thought he was a first-round talent, let alone a top 5 pick, but he went into meetings acting like he was a Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck or Cam Newton-level prospect. According to Breer, the NFL never saw Sanders the way fans and some sports media, like Kiper did. According to Breer, the consensus among NFL front offices was that Cam Ward was a considerably better prospect then any other quarterback, while popular sports media and fans seemed to think Sanders and Ward were graded similarly. Many front offices had Dart higher than Sanders and Dart is essentially Daniel Jones.

NFL cannot be dishonets. You cannot throw your hands up in the air and say you never know, how could we know, it's hard to predict, and then at the same time issue recommendations and opinions and invite players to the draft room to wait for their name to be called because it likely they will get picked in the first round. You cannot be dishonest. It's time to take financial accountable and pay up for the screw up and damage done.

It doesn't matter now, it is what it is. we'll see later if this is another Drew Brees situation, where we rue the day we had a chance to get a top tier QB and change the fortunes of this cursed franchise.

I do know that I would rather take a flyer on Sanders than Ewers and whatever trash we picked up in the fifth round that will be cut or be kryptonite on our defense.

Last thing I'll say on this, we just can't get it right.

NFL should be held financially accountable for fkn this dude out of $5 mil in 2025. Nobody went to NFL to lose $5 million. That's not how it goes. Negligence, bad advice by the NFL screwed him out of $5 million. Invited him even to first round. Fkd him even out of playing time this year, exposure in college, and building his brand. NFL needs to pay for those shenenigans.

Lol no they don't.

This was the problem when people honestly believe these college students deserve to be getting paid millions.

Welcome to the real world

Of course they need to be paid. Some of these guys have a window to make that money, and it is on college. While colleges make hundreds of millions from TV deals, the players should get paid.
And now the NFL needs to own up to screwing people out of serious money, in this case $5 million. They cannot any longer offer opinion of first round that costs players millions of dollars. There has to be accountability.
And now we get to the bottom line problem. NFL is expert in nothing. They are just enterpreneurs who care about and know profit only. They are not professionals, there is not ethics on the management level. And that either needs to change or they need to pay up when they screw up like this.

Well, dont issue opinions and recommendation and invite draftees to sit in the draft room if you do not want to take accountability.
He was at home. Even if they invited him, that’s for TV.

The Sanders family owns this situation. Not the NFL. Not the respective teams. Not the GMs. There was no collusion or anything sketchy.

Just a family with a mid round QB prospect who profit off of attention and didn’t take the process seriously. That’s the story

Definitely surprised to see about the drop, but something is up, Clearly! When a players stock drops, it’s either due to a pending legal matter or an injury concern. None of these applies to Sanders.

Maybe just start a gofundme page for him.

Maybe you can start one for all of the prospects that fell out of the first round.
