Was It a Good Lost?

Was the lost against the Jets in week 1 as bad as you thought? I mean we could of lost by much, much wider margin than we did...be honest. I mean I abhore the Jets don't get me wrong...but was it a good lost?

I do not know if I am making myself clear here. :err:
 
my opinion.... no

you need to win, theres a lot of crap on this squads and coaches shoulders, you need to get that first win out of the way and move on forward.

plus we got shut down on the run, passing game was extremely inconsistant (WR fault mostly, but Pennington missed a decent amount of open targets throughout)... and we also got passed on and run on pretty easily at times

not a great start to the season, but you jsut gotta learn from, take the best from and move ahead to week 2
 
I dont think it was. To me a good loss is a game where you play your best and they play their best. That didn't happen. We looked sloppy in a lot of areas. We didn't stop the run. We didn't contain the big play and we didn't win the battle in the trenches on either side. Their DB's were on our WR's like blankets. Our db's made mental mistakes and were out of place. We did give effort and we some how kept the game close. To me that isn't enough to say it was a good loss though.
