Why is it that we keep making excuses for Andrew Luck but not for Ryan Tannehill? Tannehill had a worse offense line, a worse running game and stats wise his receivers weren't better than Luck's either but we keep making excuses for Luck and we keep throwing Tannehill under the bus. I don't get it. Luck looks horrible so far in this game.
Damn I felt like I was in the game day thread.

lucks not having a great day but you can see the script develop...Luck wins it in the final drive and becomes a hero.
I don't disagree with any of that. Very similar situations. But I do think that Luck is more capable right now than Tannehill.
Take for instance Russell Wilson. If Seattle is down 38-17, Seattle is done because Russell Wilson cannot make that type of comeback and win. Andrew Luck is. And I think Tannehill is more capable than Wilson. in a 38-17 situation.
For Wilson, having the best defense in the league is a phenomenal cushion for a young QB.

Lets face it. Bengals will win. We get Andrew Luck vs Peyton Manning in the playoffs. I picked the Chiefs but I'm happy to see Colts vs Broncos. I think that will be a great game IF it happens. Hopefully it will!

All I will say is this:
1. Andrew Luck is the best QB out of that draft class. Russell Wilson, as JCane says, benefits from the best rushing game and defense in the NFL and has won games off of things like Matt Schaub pick sixes with two minutes to play WHEN THE TEXANS WERE LEADING AND HAD NO BUSINESS THROWING BACK ACROSS THE BODY BOOTLEG PASSES IN THE FIRST PLACE.
2. Did you see TY Hilton going in motion, running crossing routes, basically getting plays designed to get him open in space? Yeah. We don't do that with Mike Wallace.
3. Both teams can block people.

I would love to see colts vs broncos,, have luck come back against broncos and then manning fire backa and a shootout between luck and manning

this was a great game though. I don't know if another playoff game will match the chiefs colts game that just ended..we'll see. The only one that might match it is if manning plays brady for afc championship game..those have been good games
Number 2 yes I saw it and it makes me sick but lets keep Sherman.
KC offense line makes our line look like boys amomg men.

And to answer the OP, what these two teams are doing on offense is because they have good QB play. You want to know the difference in our offense and the Colts...... its Andrew Luck and Tannehill. Its 45 points and 20whatever Tannehill scores.

What sucks though, and wish about miami was a more explosive offense.The dolphins are a team who you get nervous if they get down by 14 and you have to hope their defense atleast doesn't allow the team to score too many pts against dolphins or for the team to not get that big of a lead on fins. As fins don't have the consistency or fire power to comeback from leads especially from big leads. Colts even when the defense stinks, there's that feeling or confidence that the other team being up by 14 is not game over or end of the world because colts can and have come back down by that much more.
