I know he has been an excellent DC for a long time for several teams but I can't say I payed enough attention to know what kind of players suit his style of play.

What kind of LB's would fit?

What kind of secondary does he run?

He runs a match up zone. He wants size and speed, especially speed. It is a zone, but when a guy crosses your face you have to be able to run with them.

So the Fins will be looking at faster LB's like Sanders, Overshown and Pappoe vs bigger guys like Campbell and Sewell?

I am hoping Baker is revived by a quality scheme.
Baker is a decent WSLB who logs a huge number of snaps, and who is a quality blitzer. I think he is treated too harshly here mostly because he isn't a star. His salary isn't even all that high.
That said, like RBs, LBs tend to fall off a cliff early and Baker is just 'good', while being old enough that he's a poor candidate to see his ceiling rise. He's an easy cut after this year.
I think we keep him for one last year, but cap need may force us to move him. He might be a trade candidate.

I hope I did not jump the gun on Fangio to Miami....................:out:

Alex Anzalone would be a beast in his D.

I know everyone wants a quality MLB, but it appears Fangio's scheme is more dependent upon having quality safeties. I read an article that Miami is trying to develop McKinley so maybe that's an in-house solution to pair with Holland and Brandon Jones.

I am curious about the safety position because in some of the draft simulations quality safeties have been on the board when Miami picked.

Sydney Brown(ILL) and JL Skinner(Boise ST) might be there in R2 and Jordan Battle(Bama) in R3 for example.

I think Mc Kinley will be used by Fangio with Jones and Holland, but if we play many snaps with 3 safeties on the field we need solid back up......does Rowe is in the Fangio used mold ?

I think Rowe is a cagey enough Vet to be useful in most any scheme, but he is a FA who might not be back.

I am hoping McKinley is able to help in that area next year but S is a sneaky option for Miami on Day 2.
