What kind of trade value will Ricky Williams have at the end of this season if he keeps playing like this? Does his age take away the possibility of any gain being made through a trade?

None. He has indicated he plans on retiring after the 2010 season. There has been rumors he may change his mind and play longer, but he will be 33 years old next season and I highly doubt he wants to have to "start over" again with a new team. Honestly, I think it is Miami or retirement for Ricky.

Ricky's presence on the team is more valuable, even if it is just for one more season, then anything we could get in a trade.

Exactly. No trade value whatsoever.

Ricky won't play for another team. Not a chance.

Why trade him he is the best backup in the NFL. How many teams have a backup like us that can step in and have 100 yard games if the starter goes down?
Not many.

Yeah he wont go anywhere we have him pegged next season and he already has more than proven he still has gas in the tank, with Ronnie out for the year and who knows if his injury will bother him going into next season it would be wise to keep Ricky around.

this has to be the most ignorant thread i have seen in my short time here

Maybe to the Chargers if he decides to play another year.

Reportly Ricky like playing in Norv Turners offense.

Who is going to trade us anything for an older RB who says he is retiring after 2010, and a guy who is one failed pee test away from a permanent ban? Ricky will finish it out here and I think with Ronnie being an uncertainty we can't really trade him.

Can these threads get any worse? Seriously, who wants to trade for a 32 year old RB? Why don't educated fans know this by now? My God, for the last time, this is not major league baseball.

Were you around for the "Zach Thomas to SS?" thread?

Old and not getting younger RB with a history of mental instability that is one false move away from lifetime ban for violation of the substance abuse policy?

You tell me.
