What LB ,RB or C drops out of the first or second round to our pick?

RB please. They could be had a dime a dozen in all drafts all the way through the 3rd

I do a lot of mock drafts and simulators. I see players drop from week to week.
Now that we are days away from the draft ,who drops to 102 in the LB,RB or C position?
There will absolutely be a Center available in Round 3 that could compete to start with Deiter.

I do think Grier is keeping an eye on Linderbaum at Center as a possible trade up scenario. I could see a less likely possibility with LB's Lloyd or my favorite player in this Draft, LB Dean. Both could replace Roberts nicely in our scheme and really put us in great position to unseat the Bills this season.

Sooooo … Start up the rumor mill now?!?

On it.

At pick #102? I'm very skeptical about that. Sure, it's possible, but not very likely that what is basically a rd4 pick comes in and challenges for a starting spot.

I believe if you want to have any chance of a rookie unseating Deiter, you would have to somehow get into Rd2.

To me, given the fact that MD was only able to start 8 games last year, I want to have a serviceable veteran around. I'm not counting on a second/third tier rookie in that position.

Now, that doesn't mean we cant draft a guy and develop him (PS?).

There will be some interesting players at 102. In mocks, Carson Strong is often there. I know the OP wasn't talking quarterback but...

I believe Tua takes his game to another level this season, but Strong could be a plus long-term backup. He is drawing Drew Bledsoe comps. Knee issues could be concerning.

Cook and Robinson at running backs have a good chance to be available.

Bell at wide receiver might be available and could be a nice complement to Hill and Waddle.

Tom is usually there in mocks, but that would surprise me.

Clemens at DE is interesting. Tindall at linebacker.

I like the idea, but all those players are projected in the 1st round.

I'm also a big fan of Dean's game. Because of his size, maybe he drops out of the first but that doesn't seem likely.

I see all of these guys being able to compete with Deiter for a starting spot on our OL. I doubt they are all gone at 102. Lindstrom at 102 may make the perfect fit as he played for our OL coach and is very solid. Well known in terms of what he brings and what he needs work on too.

Here is a list of the top guys at Center - there may be more that could compete with Deiter that I'm not aware of...
