What makes Harbaugh a good NFL coaching prospect?

I did get a kick out of hearing that they have 350 plays in their playbook. Luck was checking the list on his and the other guys wrist there are so many. Pretty impressive that they are able to coach these kids at that level. Had to wonder how many plays are in the plan for Henne each game?

Much larger than Henning's playbook.

- Wildcat

- Play Action

- Run up the middle

- Draw play

- 3 yard curl routes

- FB up the middle

- FB screen

That's it.
 
OP, yes it boils down to QB. But the mindset of this current staff, made a bad situation worse. Henne is bad, but with a competitent staff he is league avg and we win 3 more games. Harbaugh/Saban are better coaches than Tony. Tony is good at motivating from what we saw, but in hearing from Rickey thats about it. Coaching the NFL is half motivation, half about gameplan and execution. Tony is missing a lot.

Bingo....sad thing is Henne went from avg to aweful because of this. Pretty tough to succeed when the D knows whats coming, and half the O is pissed at you and the coahces.
 
For the doubting Thomas he would not fist pump FG's but go for TD's!!! Ok convinced?

You forgot play action fake with an empty backfield and draw play fake to a draw play.

Harbaugh doesnt come off as a college coach. He was an NFL QB for a long time. He runs a pro-style offense in college. The thing I would like most about the hire is that it would get us a better chance at getting Luck and giving Luck a seemless transition into the NFL. Luck wouldn't have to learn a new offense. He could be inserted as a starter year one.

If we get Harbaugh, I would be ok with the Dolphins giving up their ENTIRE draft for Luck.[COLOR="Silver"]

Steve Spurrier has ZERO work ethic... Harbaugh doesnt strike me as that type.

Sparano is good at what he was doing before...Assistant HC/OL coach. I think he may be another Cam Cameron...not a good HC but great at a smaller area
 
we aren't going to do **** without an offensive line and neither is any quarterback, even if they don't suck as bad as Henne.
 
it would be a mistake to hire him. He barely has a college resume, and now all of a sudden hes good enough for the NFL?
