When are these guys planning to show up. They get beat a lot by linebackers and corners.

The problem is if you knock these guys, your gonna get flamed by the blind homers on this board. Great players make plays happen regardless of who the quarterback is or if the o-line blocks well. So far chambers hasn't proven himeselt to me as a dominant number one. Maybe time will tell.....

What happend in 2005 is just that ...2005. It's all about consistency man. Does wideouts like chad johnson or holt, boldin, etc get shutdown often. Last time I checked the cardinals had horrible qb problems and boldin/fitz would still have great numbers. Chambers has amazing potential but so far this year..he hasn't done a damn thing. I could see if has covered by great corners but then again those aforementioned wideouts seem to still make plays regadless who is covering them or throwing to them. All I hear are a bunch of excuses. Chambers needs to step up and be dominant. He IMO is far from that and inconsistent.Aqua4Ever04 said:Oh please, give me a flippin' break. The last 6 games of 2005 he was the best receiver in the NFL. 46 catches, 642 yards and 6 TDs or close to that. How can you put any blame on him when the o line gives him no time to get down the field, and when they do, Daunte throws it to the other team.
