What makes me more angry is that you guys never talk about Randy mc. and chambers.

When are these guys planning to show up. They get beat a lot by linebackers and corners.

They weren't great by any means but a QB who's confident, making plays, and not fumbling around usually will elevate the play of those around him. Dan used to do it all the time.

Chambers is an enigma. Some games he shows up and makes amazing catches and other games is as silent as a mouse. He's not playing like a #1 WR right now at all. Wes Welker has had more receptions than him in the last two games which is bad.

I think McMichael could take some blame, but what has Chambers done? The only drop he had was a bullet off his face mask that he never really saw. I think he has played fine in the limited oppertunities he's had. Randy Mac has been bad though, false starts, dropped passes and just inability to get into space.

I have been knocking them for awhile now. Limitless potential but they never step into what they could be. Randy doesn't like to block and he has admitted it. Chambers wants to be a number one and has so much potential but is rapidly solidifying himself as a number 2 IMO.

The problem is if you knock these guys, your gonna get flamed by the blind homers on this board. Great players make plays happen regardless of who the quarterback is or if the o-line blocks well. So far chambers hasn't proven himeselt to me as a dominant number one. Maybe time will tell.....

Oh please, give me a flippin' break. The last 6 games of 2005 he was the best receiver in the NFL. 46 catches, 642 yards and 6 TDs or close to that. How can you put any blame on him when the o line gives him no time to get down the field, and when they do, Daunte throws it to the other team.

How can any one bash Chambers. 9 recpetions with our QB and oline is a miracle.

I guess he's also supposed to hold Daunte's hand and tell him not to throw to the other team and to hang onto the ball.

Chambers never got a chance today. He got what, 3 or 4 looks all game? He was the biggest part of the 6 game win streak to end last year, and we're going to have to go to him more if we're going to have any success in the passing game.

On the play Culpepper threw an interception, he had Chambers in the end zone. He felt the rush coming and scrambled out of the pocket way too early, or it would have been a TD.

WHy is nobody talking about chambers and mcmike? umm lets see, maybe because they ARE NO WHERE NEAR THE TOP OF THE LIST when it comes to WHAT IS LOSING US GAMES.

heres a couple things that are way more relevant than chambers and mcmike...

1. our o-line is not good.

2. our secondary is not any better than average.

3. our qback looks very lost, and nervous. (this could change.. look how much better g.frerrote did in the second half of last year compared to first)

4. we're getting absolutely killed in TOP the past 2 games...

5.we had over 300 yards today and only 6 points............ (red zone troubles, quarterback decision problems)

should i go on ? maybe if i get to #12 #13 i can start talking about Chambers and McMike. chambers is overrated and mcmike can't block. is that better?

What happend in 2005 is just that ...2005. It's all about consistency man. Does wideouts like chad johnson or holt, boldin, etc get shutdown often. Last time I checked the cardinals had horrible qb problems and boldin/fitz would still have great numbers. Chambers has amazing potential but so far this year..he hasn't done a damn thing. I could see if has covered by great corners but then again those aforementioned wideouts seem to still make plays regadless who is covering them or throwing to them. All I hear are a bunch of excuses. Chambers needs to step up and be dominant. He IMO is far from that and inconsistent.

But the problems stem from alot broader topics with this team other than randy and chris. It seems that the sytem hasn't been bought into yet amongst alot of other things..

McMichael played a poor game, two false starts and a drop. the only thing that i saw that i could fault chambers on is the fact that he didn't impose he presence on this game more. Saban said that they did call several plays for cc and i did see the overthrow early in the 2nd half. I know i'm not in the huddle but cc should in no uncertain terms tell the OC and Daunte to get him the ball. Not disruptively but confidently.....
