What me worried ?

I think we have a good shot to win but 14-13 and a pick 6 by allen sounds a little off to me.

I don't know if we pick brady, and I also think we can LIMIT their offense, but they will score more than 13. We will also score more than 14.

I think its like 27-21 type of scoring range. As good as our D is, thats how efficient their offense is. Their defense will give up yardage, we just have to capitalize when we move the ball. Last year Henne was moving with ease, and threw 2 picks to stinkovich in FG range. All downhill from there.

I think we can win without running the ball well. For all those runs for reggie that might not work, swing the ball out to him. Must connect on the deep ball as well.

Bottom line is that the Pats are beatable on opening night. The game rides on Henne's shoulders, cut and dry. A key point for me is Daboll has got to start him with high percentage passes. I was not overly impressed with the play calling against the Bucs and they can't afford to be conservative at any point during that game. Sparano says he understands the need to be aggressive on offense but you know what they say about a leopard changing their spots.

lions season depends on the cb play and if matt stafford can stay healthy...

That 14 to 13 headline was made a few years ago the day before the Fins (Ronnie Brown) wildcat upset of the Pats. I used it because it worked last time. Your predicted scores make more sence but i'll take a 2 - 0 victory if that's what it takes.

and we know BB has been preparing for Miami for 2 months- i'll take BB's prep over Sparano's, wouldn't you?

preseason means absolutely nothing.
 
Patriots Oline were beaten up by the dominant Detroit Dline. Brady looked great two weeks ago when they killed Tampa Bay in the first quarter. But the message after Detroit is that if our Dline can take control, even the great Tom Brady is vulnerable.
Detroit could surprise many teams this season.

And I'll bet he's been preparing for the Jets for 3. Worry about your own house instead of tracking mud through ours please.

The difference is we have a coach that can counter him. Once again a thread gets taken off track b/c you can't deal w/ the truth.

If you are referring to Rex's record against BB, then by the same logic, you should be more worried about playing us than the Patriots. ... Please Junc, this is a new year. Just because Tony has had Rex's number for the last few years doesn't mean he will this year. By the same token, just because BB had our number the past couple years doesn't mean he will this year either.

it's not about BB having your #, it's about BB being a great preparation coach and Sparano has not shown that abilty, wouldn't you agree?

Since Brady became the starter NE has lost one time on opening day- that is not a coincidence. Does this mean you have no chance? of course not but the smart money would be on BB & the Pats(I'll be rooting for you guys).

Streaks wouldn't be called streaks if they were never broken. You act as if we should all just throw our hands up in the air and resign ourselves to losing rather than looking for legit reasons that we might have a chance win.

I find it pathetic how much of your life you dedicate to pissing on other people's parades. Should be cause for some introspection I would think.

I apologize, I like to deal in reality. For some people that is difficult. If I feel Miami is going to be a top team I'll say so, I hate NE more than Miami and ther's no organization I have more respect for than the Pats at this time. It's not about jet love or dolphin hate, I give my honest opinions.
