This kid has really played beyond what I thought he would and this brings up an interesting situation. Since we know we have guard issues and although we visited Pouncey there before, what if Steen is completely capable at center when pouncey returns? Did we use him at guard in the pre-season (Steen)? The versatility is definitely a plus but it gives us more versatility on the line. Quite frankly, the line played MUCH better today that I thought. Sure we had issues but many times, Tannehill had plenty of time to sit back and burp the baby.

Very encouraged by the play of this kid.

Syeen was good coming out of Alabama, I think he broke his leg and went undrafted. I think OLine played well, overall. Some poor play by Albert though.

If pouncey can not play guard at all then we need to really get Tunsil up to speed because I have a feeling albert doesn't make the full season. KC had good reason to get rid of this guy. I question his conditioning. If anything hopefully Steen can make the transition to a guard position at some point. Can't have enough capable line man especially those who can play multiple positions. Miami sure as in the hell haven't had anything to be remotely excited about as far as line depth goes for years.

I mean for Steen to be able to play center at that level of the NFL and on the road is pretty darn impressive.

I still saw a lot of hits on the quarterback, some coming up the middle and a poor running attack. If Pouncey played in this game and the results were the same would we be praising him too? I'm not saying Steen played poorly. I'm just saying it wasn't that great either.

Guys first NFL game in seattle. What were you saying? Did you see a fumbled exchange or a snap over Tannehills head? Converted guard to center too. If you weren't impressed by how he handled that, I can't do much really for you.

There's a difference between playing a great game and not making a mistake. Two totally different statements. I'm glad no snaps were fumbled, but that doesn't mean he played a great game.

don't expect much out of this forum. dolpfans are some of the worst cynics.

He's no Jamil Douglas, for sure.

Told ya albert would not look good at lt. He didnt look good in pre season either. And again, as i said, this was a major poop the bed decision by gase to not put albert at guard instead of tunsil. Even though i turned off the game after those 5 dirt bags pulled their commy stunt, i knew i would probably be hearing about albert woes afterwards.

Hopefully gase learned his lesson on early promises and these kind of decisions wont be staple of his tenure.

Steen got rocked a couple of times, but overall did well considering the circumstances. He gets props for that.

I actually didn't notice much difference between Steen in there today and Pouncey. That's because the line didn't do that great which is how it usually plays with Pouncey too.
