...obtain in draft; FA? Example, I would say 40% of all the draft/FA pics should (must) go to fill-in the O-L weakest areas. You?

Oline would be great after round 3 for depth but starting guards atleast one of them needs to be a proven vet. We dont have time to wait for a rookie to develop. Not if we want to see what Tannehill can do upright.

We have been terrible drafting linemen in the middle and late rounds. Still, I say we try to sign a top-notch guard through FA and draft another in the 4th or 5th.

2 solid guards and hope james albert and pouncy stay healthy

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask...

A: How much of the total offseason should go to OL?

or B: How many of the OL should come from FA / how many should come from the draft?

________

A: at least 1 guard. at least 1 tackle, a swing preferably. After that, who knows, add as much talent / depth as possible. hard to give a %
B: I would prefer most of the OL to come from free agency, a starting caliber guard specifically. After that, its a mix and match. But I would try to shore up the OL as much as possible before the draft so we may not be "forced" into taking someone just to take them early.

2 starting caliber guards and a swing tackle that can also play guard for good measure.
