If Ricky doesn't win his appeal, what route would you like to see us go to address the running back position?

Should we stand pat with Brown, Morris and Minor? Should we add another veteran back? Or should we find a backup somewhere in the draft?

Some free agents that are available:

Stephen Davis
Anthony Thomas
Lamar Gordon
Jonathan Wells
Antowain Smith
LaBrandon Toefield
Moe Williams
Reno Mahe
Mike Cloud

Hopefully within a week or so we find out that Ricky wins, but just in case he doesn't, how do you think we should fix the hole Ricky would leave?

I think that were ok w/o Ricky with Ronnie as our starter and Minor is a decent backup...I really dont think we need to spend any money on a RB at this point (BUT I would like to see Ricky back)

Morris is a solid backup, however drafting a RB late would be a good idea. Hey Nub how about Kay jay? Might step up this year.

I think we will be ok either way but I have a good feeling Ricky will be back

Man, that list of available backs is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Hopefully, everything works out with Rick, but if not, then go with the backs we`ve got and run Ronnie Brown about 300 times, and see if he can handle the load.

Saban has spoke about kay jay in a posotive light. I think He might get his shot. he runs hard and if Ricky has to sit out, I think he would bring a good change of pace to the game. 3-5 carries per game that is. MO

Morris is a decent #2. Minor is a good change of pace back. we would be fine, but if ronnie got injured we woudl be in trouble. Although i do like Gordon from his short stay with us but i really like mInor hes my favoriteplayer and i woudl like to gsee him get some PT

Feed Beasley the ball if Ricky cant play.. He still has some slashing left in the tank!

i think morris and minor could lessen the blow. both are talented enough to provide some relief for ronnie.
