Just curious to know what pains you the most from this stinging loss to the texans?

Personally for me, it's the fact that we lost to a winless team. I just feel we should've won this game.

It's a combination of things. Losing to a 0-4 team, The curse continues and that everyone in the world saw the QB sneak coming but our Defensive coordinator. But of those things, I'd say what hurts most is the WAY we lost. That final drive of the game should never have happened. period.

We were 2 for 10 on third down conversions. We can blame the D if we want because they had their struggles but we have to convert plain and simple.

It's also too bad we lost when we did an awesome play out of the Wildcat formation....The way our team executed the play with pennington was awesome, but too bad that highlight will come with some bad memories, not to mention be nullified through the media because we lost the game.

Here is my opinion . I think miami lacks three key ingredients to be a winning team.

number 1 we need 2 cb's and 1 safety

number 2 we need a dynamic wr and another good wr.

number 3 we need more depth at oline and dline.

I am probally wrong here but after watching Arizona and how good there offense was with Fitz, Beasly, and jj arrington and another cat its no wonder Arizona has past us by. I know their coach made a dumb mistake of calling a time out at the end of regulation which dallas almost won but still both of these teams have so much of a offense they can hide their weakness at cb . I dont really think we are good at wr , cb, and safety so those are my concerns and man Fitzgerald is a stud of a wr i wished we had him in aqua.

It is true but we already know this. The rebuild is on. Skill players will be added and depth will happen. Gotta' be patient.

sorry finfang I try not to be redundent and all but after watching Arizona' and dallas's wrs i keep hoping to one day be a good passing and running game both at the same time.

Losing by 2 or less is painful.
What pains me is that the secondary gave them the opporitunity to do it. They should have never gotten to the redzone to begin with. The closest if anything is within field goal range.

losing after they had worked their @$$es off to regain the lead in the fourth, which in turn kills the confidence for the near future and devastates the fanbase!!!

that's what hurts

Our secondary has no ball skills. Bell is the only thing close to a playmaker in the secondary and he failed when we needed him the most today.

What hurts me most is the fact that we could be sitting pretty at 3-2 right now heading into the game with the Ravens next week.

Instead we are below .500 at 2-3 and need a big win next week.

i voted for SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!! i think we should have gone for it on 4th down and an inch. when you kick it away you might as well broadcast it to the offense "i don't think you can make an inch." 4th and a foot or better when you're in your own territory is different. but the defense wasn't stopping anybody, should have gone for it.

Losing despite creating 3 turnovers.

They handed us the game and we blew it. Nothing more to say.

How about beating ourselves? That should be an option. We let Walter run the field wide open and grab an easy 30 yards. Hill and Goodman also dropped interceptions in the 4th that were basically gift-wrapped for them. Oh, and we scored way too fast! That's a rookie head coaching mistake. I know we wanted to score, but there's no reason we should have left that much time on the clock. I put half of that on Sparano and the other half on Ronnie. They both should have known better. So I vote for the option of "We beat outselves!"

actually, losing to houston is a double edged sword. there was a guy named LeftCoastPhin, i met him on this board. he wrote a couple of articles for AJ. 2003 was the first year we played the texans and lost 20-21 at home. that was the year my friend shot himself. had no idea he was that depressed. it wasn't about the game, the only thing we can figure he was sleep deprived, he didn't even leave a note as to why. when we lose, especially when its close like that, my mind begins to wander.
