in the last several years I can think of 3 very good to great players. One of which (J Long) was the 1st pick in the draft and IMO, is simply making too much. The other two being V Davis and M Pouncey.

I can think of maybe 4 other good players, two of which (Hartline and Clay) are good for where they were drafted. The other two being S Smith and J Odrick.

P Soliai did work out well for one season after a couple of years. He was paid too much for that one season and then we lost him getting nothing in return.

What is the plan here? (if there is one)

Is it simply to draft poorly then overpay for other team's problem children in Free Agency and trade for ex-Cowboys to complete the roster?

The sad thing is, the Jeff Ireland drafts are the best drafts we have had in Miami since the Jimmy Johnson Era...

Dolphins draft also sucks mostly in the 1st-round, when they are picking WRs or RBs: Ted Ginn, Yatil Green, Mc Duffie, John Avery,

Hate to say it but we need a 3 year rebuilding time....again....this time with a different and improved view of the "modern" NFL instead of building a team to compete in the 80's. We can't start spending $12 million a season for a 36 year old QB thinking that he will make us a Super Bowl team. I've been a Dolphin fan since 1972 and I can say that I'm ready for this sack of crap to be thrown away and rebuilt.

I'm 51 now and I hope that we see the Playoffs again within 2-3 years and I hope we can reach the Super Bowl before I hit 60.

This team has been so depressing over the last 10-15 years.

We need to rebuild but Ross needs to fire Ireland, the franchise needs someone with modern football philosophies.

We have ONE holdover from the "Parcells's era" and that one guy is Jeff Ireland. I'm not going to believe in the future of this team until he is gone.

Don't worry folks. We fans don't know anything.

Let the experts like Jeff Ireland draft.

No need for Dez Bryant. Let's get Koa Misi.
