Why would this thread get locked he just asked a damn question.
I would say Tony Ugoh T. David Harris LB and Lamar Woodly LB/DE.

I still wish we had went Quinn/ Rice but oh well.
 
They should have drafted Sidney Rice instead of Beck. The drafting of Ginn and Beck has set this team back for at least 1 to 2 years. And now the signing of Pennington instead of letting a letting a young QB develop means it will be at least 2 to 3 years before we are even competing for the playoffs again
 
how bout Quentin Moses at the 1st pick in the third round lol.. we coulda had him here instead of Beck!

Seriously though I sure wouldn't mind having Sidney Rice or Dwayne Jarrett right now.

Not sure Pennington hurts us, it just means they have very little faith in McCown or Beck as the starter or at least thats the way it appears to me.
 
Troy Smith is better .....he went in the 5th round at pick #174

Trent Edwards is better...he went in the 3rd round at pick #92...

James Jones is better....he went in the 3rd round at pick # 78.....

Steve Smith is better....he went in the 2nd round at pick #51....(how good would that pick look now for the phins?)

Kevin Boss is better....he went in the 5th round at pick #153....

Ahmad Bradshaw is better....he went in the 7th round at pick #250...

Johnnie Lee Higgins is better...he went in the 3rd round at pick #99....

Lamar Woodley is better...he went in the 2nd round at pick #46....(how good would that pick look for the phins?)

There are many.....

I think a better question would be 'What player could the Dolphins have got with that 2nd round pick in 2000 instead of Todd Wade?'

The correct answer would be Tom Brady, who wasn't taken until 199 with a compensatory pick. Just another bonehead move during the Wannstedt era. Can't believe he couldn't see that Brady was going to be so good.

We drafted Beck and that can't be changed. Shall we go back through all of our draft blunders and see who we could have taken?
