Is wr the most important position we are missing? pats got moss, jets got edwards, bills got....uh i dunno lol. We got ......trash receivers, why in the hell didnt parcells trade for edwards, this really ticks me off, we could be in the freakin supoerbowl this year if parcells makes a move to get edwards... Our rookie cbs are gettin better as the season goes on yet we still missing wrs... Ted gin jrr might as well be cut for all i care.

you might as well be cut for all I care.

but yes Ginn is trash and we have a handful of #2 Wr's

LMAO @ Cut Ted Ginn. Ted Ginn is a pure trash wide receiver but that kid has skills we can use on special teams. You want to put his *** on the bench when the offense is on the field, fine. But once the opposition shoves the ball down our pathetic defenses throat for six, I want the ball in Ted Ginn's hands on the ensuing kickoff. I said from day 1 this kid wouldn't cut it as a receiver in the NFL and we had spent a top pick on a kick returner. This was about as dumb as the Raiders drafting a kicker in the first round years ago.

And there's no way in hell that Braylon Edwards is the missing piece to a Dolphins Super Bowl berth. He's a great player and we could DEFINITELY use a kid with his skills but the fact still remains that we have a lot of problems on defense and technically a rookie QB in Chad Henne who the coaching staff still doesn't trust to go out and win a game for us. Ricky and Ronnie is our bread and butter.

Yea it kinda sucks Devin Hester is better WR at this point than Ted Ginn is

The Jest are 1-4 since trading draft picks and 2 players for Edwards

And they have lost 5 of their last 6 games overall.

They're a 10-11-12 win team, talent wise, to hear junc tell it. Just had a few injuries and a rookie QB. They'll turn it around.

What's your point? Player X isn't the same player on Team A as he is on Team B my friend.

Say hello to Jay Cutler and Kyle Orton.

Braylon Edwards has improved that team without a doubt. They have a rookie head coach and a rookie QB. There's going to be some problems there. Braylon Edwards wouldn't come to Miami and take us to the Super Bowl, but he would certainly improve this team. No one can deny that.

I take this one point at a time:

Our receivers are not trash (with the exception of Ginn and I'll address that later) Our WR's just aren't #1's, if we get a true #1 lined up opposite of Bess, Cam or Hartline they immediately become solid 2's and 3's. All good teams have solid WR's at depth and that is what is being built here, they are just building from the role players up, nothing wrong with that.

I don't know if you've noticed or not but they are already rumblings up in NY about the Edwards trade. Outside of the one game against us he has gone back to dropping passes in bunches and in fact has picked up the nickname "Soap". What does that tell you? For a team rebuilding he would have cost way to much.

Even if Edward didn't drop a lot of passes he would not have vaulted us into Super Bowl contenders, to argue otherwise is plain silly.

Cutting Ginn makes absolutely no sense what so ever. As a 1st rounder he got the majority of his money up front in guarantees. He's already paid we might as well still use him as a return man. In fact I say get our moneys worth and put him on punts as well because it's not really Bess's strong suit.

The one thing I didn't put in bold but would still like to address is you complementing our rookie CB's. Your the same guy that just last week started a thread ripping both of them so make up your mind.

I believe the point is that for what they gave up, it has not paid off. I would love to have Edwards but not at the price they paid. Just like Sanchez. They overpaid with picks and it will bite them in the a$$.

There's no way Bill Parcells would have given up what they gave up for Edwards. Bill Parcells is an expert negotiator and 9 times out of 10 he'll get great value in a pick and/or trade.

our missing peice for this season are WR, TE, ILB, SS, and FS, those are the 5 biggest weakness on our team IMO

i disagree, Wrs yes we need a #1, tight ends i think we have a few solid tes so not a big factor, ss and fs we could use a replacement for wilson but i think bell holds his own. ILB most def we need to replace joey porter, this guy is past his good days. But i think we should be happy we are good at rb and qb positions, i find them the hardest to land.

Exactly. Parcells wouldn't give it up but the Jets did.

I don't believe Parcells has made any significant trades other than to acquire picks.

You didn't even know the name of the guy we used against Tampa on Sunday Mr. #1 expert poster lol.

I also didn't know Porter was an ILB, did he move from the outside? I guess the #1 expert poster would know so theres no point in questioning it.
