It seems like our front office is overhauling both the de's and oline and they seem to have addressed the likebackers , however i am wondering how are we set at , wr, te, safety , and defensive tackles ? with our new te injured does this mean we will keep te martin ?
i still would like to bring in one more te but we really need to figure out what jason allen's role is and what canning crowder's role is going to be.

the only need is WR still, we could always use the help there. As for TE we got the best we are gonna get till next draft/FA. Every other position is locked up i would say till next year and is gonna be decent enough to get by, DT might surprise tho with new talent.

safety and TE should be fine. the big ones are QB (as always), WR and DT (or lack thereof), and CB (if goodman can't stay healthy). if QB finally works out, then those other areas of need won't mean much.

Running back IMO. If our running game is gonna be our bread and butter our success will be determined there. Ronnie coming off an injury which takes a toll on a player physically & mentally, Ricky is a huge question mark due to his issues (not playing a full season in a while, weed & media spotlight problems, desire to do other things) and lastly Parmele who Iwas glad to see us pick up for insurance but still at this point is a late round unproven rookie. IMO if any one of these guys can remain good for us on a consistant level we will have a shot but the deeper we have to go at this spot the tougher it will be on us.

Still have big needs at CB and WR and some depth issues online and TE

I tend to believe our biggest position concern is (or should be) Cornerback.

With Will Allen's most recent legal problems and our failure to address this position via free-agency or the draft, we may be in for a long year in the defensive passing game.

Our pass coverage will certainly have to hinge on the amount and/or speed of our pass rushing ability. If we can get to the QB's fast, then our CB's will look better. But I'm not sure I can trust Travis Daniels and Andre Goodman at this point.

I know there was some praise towards newly aquired Will Billinglsey, but don't drink the kool-aid just yet. We have yet to see what he can do with pads on.

Who will be covering Randy Moss this year?

This is easy . . . . OT, CB, NT and WR

OT - There is a big drop off after Jake Long and Vernon Carey . . . Julius Wilson? Undrafted FA's? We definitely will bring in some kind of vet OT . . . possibly LJ Shelton revisited? We need somebody.

CB - WE are VERY thin at CB . . . . if nobody gets hurt . . . we will be fine . . . but Goody has a history . . . and Allen has recent legal issues . . . . Lehan is more suited as a nickel IMO but he can start. Yea guys like Hill, Jason Allen . . . can start in a pinch . . . but outside of the top 3 . . . we have Nate Jones . . . who is depth, but nothing to great . . . and some undrafted FA's . . . hopefully some of these young guys can step up.

WR - Wilford is a borderline #2 on most teams . . . and Ginn is still unproven . . . especially as a #1 . . . Hagan is a BIG KEY . . . his success will be vital for this unit. Guys like Bess, Foster, Perry . . . lets face it . . . I can't get too excited about them. I definitely think we will add someone to this unit.

NT - Fergie should be able to hold down the spot . . . but he is 34 . . . and outside of him . . . we have put our faith in Paul Solail . . . who was quite awful last year . . . and currently is hurt at OTA's. Starks seems IDEAL for DE . . . hell after looking at Langford . . . he seems better suited to be a NT . . . guy is GIIINORMOUS . . . but him and Starks should hold down the DE position for years. Dotson and whoever else is just wishing . . . we gotta add another veteran to the position . . . we should have drafted one earlier than the 7th round . . . putting faith in Solai could be a bad idea.

Solai played as good as any rookie DT at the begining of the year and when Cam and co. myteriously stopped playing him their were many players spoke up about it to the media. In case anyone has forgot.

Definitely WR, DB, and we don't seem to have anyone worthy of future candidacy for Dancing with the Stars, that's what's going to hurt us the most I think

Agreed

This team goes NOWHERE without production from the RB position. If Ronnie and Ricky dont return to some kind of form, if Ricky ends up suspended and Ronnie reinjures the knee, i dont see any possible way how we wont be in for another 1-15 season at most.

good point there space mountian as a matter of fact I think we can bring two more cb's and 1 more wr then we should be ok . if Ricky and Ronnie bouth have bad year then we are in trouble.

positions to be concerned about? everything but kicker.. and i guess special teamers, since tuna loaded up on those this offseason.. too bad he forgot the rest of the team

well if you call losing 2 pro bowl lb's and adding a mediocre ilb and 2 more guys who were backups/special teamers 4 their teams last season then I guess they did address it, just not very well..
