I am wondering since there seems to be alot of injuries to running backs this year ; do you put runningback at the top of list in terms of the shortest life of a nfl play list ?

I have put on the shortest life list is as follows.

runningback

linebacker
tightend
fullback
center
defensive end

on the longest life expectency in the nfl I put these positons here.

offensive guard
QB
WR
DT
OT

SAFETY
CB

DO i have these positions in the wrong catagory? :ponder:

Longest life is actually punter, kicker, and long snapper.

Since Marino retired...a Dolphins QB is the shortest.

I think CB's that stay in the league after age 30 AND perform at a high level (ie starting material on 90 percent of teams) is really low. Might put them in the first catagory. Or like ronnie lott when they lose a step they get converted to safety.
