Brady Quinn was on Adam Schein's radio show the other day and he gave an interesting interview. When Adam Schein asked him which team had shown the most interest in him he said bar none, it has been the Miami Dolphins. You can go to fox sports and check out Scheining moments on their video section to see Schein talk about this. Schein who I personally think is one of the best football commentators in the business then goes on to say that Brady Quinn was one of the most interesting football players that he's ever interviewed on his show and that in his opinion this guy really gets it. Take it for whatever it's worth...

Of course it's us, we've been scouting him for the past 2 years!!!!!!! If we wern't interested in him, we wouldn't have spent much time on him this year. Miami had all it's info on him last year in case he decided to come out. The fact that we are still poking and prodding him tells me they are enamored with him. I just can't see spending the time and resources on someone this year that the club already knew about last year if they aren't really considering a move for him. Even if Miami struggles through a couple of developmental seasons for him, I think they're banking on the fans supporting them moving towards another QB of the future. JMO

Here is a link to the Adam Schefter article titled, "Some Fishy Moves at QB:"

http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/10117930

Here is some of the Miami QB information from this article:

Before or on the April 28 draft, the Dolphins could wind up making at least one and as many as three moves at quarterback.

The team could draft a quarterback, and the team is evaluating the top players at the position.

Dolphins coach Cam Cameron and general manager Randy Mueller met Monday with LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell, then jetted off to work out and meet with Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn. Drafting one of those quarterbacks, which likely would require Miami trading up from the No. 9 pick it now holds, could be one of multiple moves the Dolphins make at that position.

The Dolphins also recently worked out Michigan State quarterback Drew Stanton and East Carolina quarterback James Pinkney, more signals about how serious the team is about upgrading its quarterbacks.

For now, they remain the leaders to land Kansas City quarterback Trent Green, who knows and likes Cameron. Miami and Green already have the parameters of a contract agreement in place, now the Dolphins and Chiefs must agree on their own deal.

The Dolphins and Chiefs are not engaged in any significant trade discussions, not at this time, but those talks will intensify as the draft approaches and many people around the league believe that Green is destined for Miami.

If Miami did land Green, the Dolphins could engage in yet another quarterback move. With Green, it would not be expected to keep Daunte Culpepper...

...Miami actually would save $1.3 million in salary-cap space if it released Culpepper, who is scheduled to count $6.9 million against Miami's cap this season.

But his release would wipe his $5.6 million off Miami's books, making his departure a much more real scenario than some think.

Joe Staley said we seemed most interested in him as well..........
I'd probably trade all our picks to get both of em...

if Brady Quinn comes in...do u think he is an automatic starter??? or do u think he needs a year or two to develop?? Some say he can come in and start right away...if thats the case, if we DO draft Quinn...id immediately put Culpepper on the trade block to get maybe an extra 3rd. Trent Green will be cut eventually, and then we can sign him to 1-2 years.

You have to be careful with this info just before Draft day. Teams like to blow smoke during this time to cover their real direction on draft day. Who is to say that if BQ falls to us that we don,t traded him away for more picks ? There is one thing you can take to the bank, you can,t trust anything any team says till the draft is over.

Man I hope we can trade up to get Quinn, I know there are a lot of people that say we need all those picks to fill holes and stuff, but we have a freaking black hole at QB that is destroying this teams season year in and year out. If there is anything we need its a good franchise QB.

Personally Quinn is the most NFL ready QB to come into the NFL in a few years. He's been taught by probably the best offensive mind in football for the past 2 years. He would come in and start and in my mind, win.

Do you know anything about football?

Very true. This team will never get to the level of elite UNTIL they solve the QB problem.
Dave Wannstadt didn't get it. He looked at the Ravens blueprint and thought he could get by with a journeyman QB. The Ravens were an exception that season because it was a relatively weak year in the NFL (no true elite teams). Historically, the consistently good teams have an upper echelon QB in place and are contenders for several years in a row. Marino never won a SB, but the Phins were usually playoff contenders for most of his career.
A good QB can help you compensate for weaknesses elsewhere. More so, than with any other position.

You guys can't argue your point both ways. Quinn never won big games at Notre Dame because of his supporting cast. However, now he can make up for our teams short coming. It's makes no sense. If Brady is there at 9 maybe you take him. You dont give away 1st day picks to get him. If we did draft him what do you really expect from him this year ? We have a potential game changing defense. We need players that make us better this year. I would like to give Zach and Jason a fighting chance to see the playoffs once more. :)

I don't know about you guys, but I've been smelling a trade-up for quite some time.... and this.... well this just makes it downright smelly.

quinn is destined to be marino's prodigy, if we got him that would give us too many above average QB's, and that's a problem that the phins would love to have

Quinn will be gone at the #3 pick to the Browns if Russell is off the board as expected. I think it's looking more like Drew Stanton or Trent Edwards IMO.
