What really happened to Phinzone.com?

I understand that finheaven "absorbed" phinzone.com, but what exactly does this mean and how exactly did it happen? Was there money involved? Do any of the former staff members at phinzone post at finheaven at all, such as Sandy Williams or Jim Jenson?

i know this happened a while ago, but I never really found a clear explination of it. anyone?
