is that this team is out of the playoffs...yet so close to being AFC East Champs or even the #1 or #2 seed in the playoffs.
Improper preperation by the coaching staff had this team looking ahead instead of taking care of business against the Texans. We would be looking at 10-5 instead of 9-6 right now.
Mare missed field goals in regulation and OT against the Pats. That should have this team 10-5 right now, but add that to the other "should have" and they are 11-4.
Second game against Pats very close. You saw the field goal and then the INT for the TD. This team should have pulled that game out. Add this to the other "should haves" and we are now looking at 12-3.
12-3 with NE at 12-4 out. Going into the weekend with the AFC East clinched and the possibility of a first round bye.
