I think the fourth or fifth, but some people may target him earlier based solely on preseason.

I just got him in round 7 of a ten team league earlier tonight.

Ronnie didnt go for a few rounds after that.

I don't know much about fantasy football, but it sounds like you got a heck of a deal, Ricky is going to light em up this year! Ha ha.

Ricky was the steal of the draft.

I just wondered something as well........I wonder how many RBs were taken in that draft I just did tonight BEFORE Ronnie. I had 8th overall pick and took Frank Gore in round one. But, I guess I shouldve taken Ronnie since he is better even though he didnt go till like round 10 or something.

Personally I try and stay away from teams who use RB by committee and I also try and stay away from Miami players even though I am a Miami fan as they have been lacking productivity. Ginn on the otherhand I may pick up if available for my WR flex position seeing that we also score points on KR yards.

I wouldn't touch RW unless he fell down a couple of rounds or my league uses a Runningback at the flex position. Maybe as a backup for BYE weeks or injuries.

Exactly..... You have to use judgement based on potential and even though Ricky will most definately have a productive year, if RB gets a bulk of the carries in goal yard situations RW's value goes down and vice versa. Hence why I stay away from running back by comitee and would go for an RB used more exclusively.

he should be looked at after you got ur starting WRs, RBs and QB. id say that should be around round 7 or higher. as a good RB3, great RB4 to have.

Why would Ronnie get the goal line carries??? Ricky is FAR SUPERIOR in those situations due to his excellent vision. Ronnie OFTEN gets taken down behind the line when the line dosent open anything. Ricky on the other hand uses his excellent vision and quickness to find an area where he can at least get something positive, making him much better around the goal. Ronnie is a helluva guy to try and bring down once he gets his momentum moving forward...running downhill, but his lack of vision turns 1-2 yard gains that Ricky would get into 1-2 yard losses. This is why there was interest in Marion Barber during the offseason.

I nailed on one of my fantasy I was dissapointed i didnt get in tonights draft.

I may have to pick him in the fourth on Saturday because my friends are going to try to take him to make me mad. Of course, with my keepers being Ryan Grant and Peyton Manning and my having three third rounders through trades, my starters should already be set by the fourth.

Ricky should be the 1st pick of the draft as he will have more points than anyone!!

i did trade jake delhomme and bryant johnson for tedd ginn and chad pennington.

I grabbed the important pieces to my starting lineup, 1 QB, 2 RB's and 3 WR's and then grabbed Ricky as my first backup. So I got him in the 7th round. I thought I may be pulling the trigger on him a little early but feel strongly about him having a good season and didn't want to let him slip to the garbage portion of the draft. At that point anyone could be willing to take a chance with him as many players may have a plan early but scour a cheatsheet in the later rounds. If you really want him it could be dangerous to let him slip too far, especially with all the positive press. Last night the ESPN fantasy analyst said he will have a btter year than Ronnie Brown. Whether or not we believe that is irrelevant, folks who don;t follow the Dolphins as closely as we do will.

Unfortunately, the word is out on Ricky now(for non-phins fans). A buddy of mine is targeting Ricky(so he says) in the 5th. I was hoping to thieve him in the bottom 3rd of drafts, but thats not gonna be happening.
