Why not just get a front-office guy and a director of pro personnel, and NOT combine those functions?

Putting all that power in the hands of a guy who is almost certainly an outsider and basically a new hire (by Ross) HIMSELF?

The guy we are wishing for more or less is NON-EXISTENT. We want one man to make it ALL go away NOW and such a man is not to be found in this league today.

Forget a "front-office" guy...I could care less about the cap and salary side of things. Let some "bean-counter" type with no real power take care of that. I want someone who can evaluate talent and knows how to get it.

You don't need a gm. Jerry Jones is the GM of the Cowboys and calls all the shots in the draft and in free agency. Why do u think they are so terrible? Yea lets follow that road... Smh. We need somebody who knows football and can recognize talent in the draft.
