No trade, Jay Cutler will be our pick, mark my words!

Culpepper is a waste, He is not the answer. We need to draft a QB for the future. Let Gus run the show now. But then turn it over to him. Culpeper would be a waste of a trade, he might not even be able to play after that big hit on the knee. he wont even be able to run til about the time the season starts. Waste, waste, waste. not worth a look

I am undecided about bringing Culpepper to Miami but he is a long, long ways from "trash". When healthy and on a somewhat productive team he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If it wasnt for the fumbles I would rank him ahead of Peyton Manning

i dont care what anyone says

you cant deny the fact that he is an upgrade over gus whether hs is injured or not injured

with that said i would trade our second for him cause i still think we can get denvers late first for ricky

thoughts???

Espn ranked the top seasons for a qb ever...

#1 Dan marino with 48 tds

#2 last year with peyton manning

#3 Daunte Culpepper last year

he threw 4700 yards and only 700 of them were to moss, and they didnt have cris carter on their team. no trash quarterback can put up those qb numbers. his qb rating was 110 at the end of the year. We always beg and beg for a qb season after season. What better chance do we have then now to get an unbelievavle nfl qb? We have to do whatever it takes to get him, 1st and a 2nd rounder, 2nd rounder and ricky, because we may never have a chance at a proven nfl qb like we have now

you are crazy man
i agree we need to get him

Agreed. I challange anyone here to argue the point that when healthy he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league but trading that much for anyone(I dont care if he is Dan Marino) at his age is rediculus

No way...we don't know if Culpeppers knee is going to heal enough for him to even get ANY offseason work at all...he may not be ready for the start of the season...You think we should trade for him in the hopes that his knee is ready by the season start ??

The Vikings have put Daunte Culpepper on the trading block. The team is gauging Culpepper's trade value around the NFL, a person with know of the situation said Wednesday -- confirming a decision triggered when Culpepper demanded that his 2006 compensation be more than doubled.
-- Minneapolis Star Tribune

Culpepper represented himself during a gathering that also included Vikings owner Zygi Wilf, coach Brad Childress and vice president Rob Brzezinski. Culpepper, according to two people with knowledge of the situation, asked that approximately $10 million be added to his contract this season -- increasing his total 2006 compensation to a staggering $18 million. Wilf angrily turned down Culpepper's request, and it is believed that no substantive communication has taken place since.

Does this remind anyone of TO? They just gave Culpepper a new deal last year and now he is demanding more. Combine this with the boating incedent and I am starting to want him less and less.
