Sorry, i dont see a lot of Chargers game last year, could u help me? i want to know what system Cameron uses, what is the relation run-pass, if he uses 2 TE sets, or prefer the I form, multiple WR's, etc.

Its doesnt seem like he uses too many 3 WR sets. He uses the fullback alot so mainly I-Form and 2 TE sets...I think

Because of the fact that we dont have any prolific TEs anymore, and Cam himself said he will adjust his mentality and strategy to bring out the best of our current skill set, I believe we will be seeing a lot more 3 WR sets.

Lets face it, we dont have Niel or Gates type players in our offense. Our base will sill be the I Form 2 TE, but I think we will be seeing more variety than Cams days in SD.

I believe parts of Cam's scheme incorporates the Old School Redskins (Riggins & the Hogs) offense i.e. 2 TE/2 WR/1 RB with lots of formations and motion.

The reason it may have been so bland in San Diego is that Marty is almost as predictable as Wanny.

Cameron's "base" offensive formation is the I-formation. That's generally the most common offense in Norv Turner branch offenses.

Here's the breakdown of Cam's offense last season.

LT's rush attempts-
I Formation- 275 attempts
2 TEs- 91 attempts
3 receivers- 64 attempts

Phillip Rivers pass attempts-
I Formation- 171 attempts
2 TEs- 60 attempts

etc.

cam is to offense as dave is to defense. atleast he's not mularky, though.

I-Formation with Schlesinger and either our 3rd WR depending on who we draft and how high or David Martin.

To be honest I prefer 3 WR with Chambers in the slot and a FB in the backfield. I find that run formation to be unbelievably effective especially behind a strong RT. Keeps the SLB off the field and lets the fullback hit the Mike.

Here we go with the guy who has no idea why I said it assuming there is some ridiculous assumption on my part.

Chambers is a good run blocker, you put three WRs on the field meaning the defense has to put in a nickel. Chambers will block him out of the play.

David Martin was a strong-side linebacker. I don't know who wins that...

See my reasoning?

I'm with you bro. I think we'll see Chambers moved all over the field, hopefully not so many damn reverses though!
