Mr. Ross should go to the practice field and send all of the coaches home and get down and personal with the players and find out what the problems and concerns are from the players. Then he needs to correct the problems before this season goes up in smoke any more than it already has. It is getting pretty obvious that the payers have given up and just don't care. If its the coaches or management he needs to correct it NOW. But does he have the balls to do it?

After everything that has gone on these past couple weeks how would that look.......media would have a field day. And it would prolly turn a lot of people on each other. Seems like a good idea but would spin outta control.

What should be done. Joe leads the team and the team rallies and wins tomorrow. I am still predicting a win.

Actually he should go to the man below him and instruct him to communicate that emphasis downward, while telling him to report back with his findings, rather than skipping downward over the entire chain of command and undermining the authority of everyone in between in the process. If he doesn't trust that man below him to get that job done accurately and appropriately, he should fire that man immediately.

I don't think the team has stopped playing at all. The last couple of games they had some bad breaks, if the players aren't mentally tough enough to get over it then screw them and we don't want them anyway. The Coaching staff just needs to make adjustments, I would be down with a firing or two, but I would make those quick and drama free and only if we had a plan "B" in place and ready to go.

This team is by no means out of contention for the division race and still should be considered a live prospect for the wildcard given there is a lot of football remaining this year.

Hope you're right and maybe this will actually spark some emotion.

But with Clabo starting? I got Cincinnati all the way in this one. Carlos Dunlap is going to eat his lunch.

Are you kidding? Hell NO! What would that tell the next coach that comes in here? Players throw a temper tantrum and I clean house? Stupid idea...

My feeling is Ross already has a bit of a credibility gap -- or maybe a trustworthiness gap -- when it comes to potential coaching candidates. Anyway, I think this is a little more than a temper tantrum. This is a team that started 3-0 pretty much imploding and now we have a young starter possibly seeking mental health aid that might have been triggered by one of the coaches or by his teammates and a locker room that at best seems to be universally acknowledged to be having problems.

I went on a big rant after the game Sunday that I wanted everyone gone. It was more of a gigantic need to vent, and, being realistic, I knew nothing would happen until after the season. Someone, though, replied that continuing to get rid of coaches was making as a laughingstock. See, I think hiring the wrong coach and keeping him too long makes one a laughingstock. Courting Harbaugh and letting that get out in public and then giving Sparano an extension, that's the kind of stuff that makes an organization a laughingstock.

If firing these guys midseason puts the Dolphins closer to eventually getting the right guy, I'm all for it.

Considering that 100% of the players were hired by Jeff Ireland, I think it's unlikely any of them would tell Ross the real problem is that the GM sucks.
