What should WVDolphan's 10,000th post be?

What should WVDolphan's 10,000th post be?

  • Total voters
    126
  • Poll closed .
Whatever you decide upon, it should definately include a YouTube video of you fist-pumping, while asking Sparano for his permission to take Chad Henne's hand in marrage.

Personally, I'm thinking a "Get Real WVdolphan" on yourself.. meaning sometimes your just biased and ridiculous, even when your trying to be coherent and direct.

Also thats a big ego talking about what your 10,000th post should be. But by the 6 pages of interest and so many votes in the poll, I guess your worth it.

You|Twit|Face

I think you should post about your seccret longing to have Matty Ice's kids. Nevermind, old news to Fin Heaven! I would just go with what the voters want....em hemmm what ever that might be.

Actually, I think you should have a fight to the death with NYJUNC, the winner never post on here again!

Q) What are the psychological reasons behind referring to yourself in third person?
One of my former co-workers is a really nice guy but he has a really strange habit...he refers to himself in third person all the time. "Tim really liked the movie", "Tim wants to go to Wendy's for lunch", "Tim had a nice, relaxing weekend". He's a really nice person, who is a bit on the shy side (but not overly shy) but constantly referring to himself in the third person is...well...a little odd. What are the are the psychological reasons behind referring to yourself in the third person like that? Thanks!

A)Because when you do that it makes you feel like your not so alone. Its a psychological way of making yourself feel like theres someone with you, even if it is only yourself. He was probably picked on as a child, that usually being the cause for this behavior. On the other hand if hes doing this in a joking fashion, its just that a joke.

WV threads draw more attention than any other thread posted by any other FinHeaven member. Doesn't matter who it is. CK, FinAtic...WV brings eyes because he's not sitting on the fence. Dude is in your face with strong opinions. You may or may not agree with those opinions, but you're damn sure gonna post about it.

No idea why anyone would want him to '"retire" from FinHeaven.

Which by the way, "retiring" is some lame ****. That's RDS nonsense right there.

Almost 40% disagee. I think he 2 or 3 post programs that say the same exact thing, he just fills in the blanks with a different name.

And they still draw post after post after post from everyone else because of strong emotion and opinion. And the majority of what he says is the truth and people are just too emotionally attached to the team to really see it.

I can say the exact same things as WV and it won't see hardly any replies. WV says it and it's discussed at length.
