What storylines do you think will be featured on Hard Knocks?

Lamar Miller and Olivier Vernon making the transition from the Canes to the Dolphins. Miami boys staying in Miami for their pro careers.

I think a lot of these stories of rags to NFL riches are kind of cliche now (ie Devone Bess, Jimmy Wilson). I could see them focusing on coaches/coaching since that hasnt really been focused on before.

They will focus on how the once proud franchise has fallen.
It's sure to piss some people off when this dog and pony show backfires.

Yup. This will be ugly and all the signs of class and integrity and professionalism that Miami has been working to project and to bring back will evaporate during this show. They'll rescue this ailing show format not by portraying the noble struggle of a former great as they work their way back to success, but by ridiculing the Fins. It'll be edited to look like we are a mess.

And we asked for it. Attention-hungry Ross asked for it, rather than earning ticket sales through performances, performances which have a better chance of happening without a camera stuck up the players noses. There is NO WAY Philbin wanted this, I don't care what he says.

Have you ever seen Hard Knocks? This is produced by NFL Films in conjunction with HBO, not by ESPN. They do not spin everything to the negative. If this were a show developed by ESPN, I would be worried, but I don't think we have to fear NFL Films trying to sensationalize everything and paint the Dolphins in a negative light needlessly. NFL Films has respect for the NFL and NFL teams, unlike ESPN.

We'll see...

That's amazing how you've already seen all 5 episodes.

Episode 1 will probably due a piece on Mrs. Tannehill. Episode 2 will probably due a piece on Mrs. Tannehill. Episode 3 will probably due a piece on Mrs. Tannehill...

They've got to do something on Cam Wake I would assume. With his CFL story.

I think it's funny that the year Jason Taylor finally retires, here come the cameras for Hard Knocks! :) Anybody think he comes back for one more?!

If NFL Films and HBO did that, they might as well cancel the series now. They had a difficult time getting a team to agree to appear on the show and if they intentionally made a team look bad, it will be almost impossible for them to get another team to do Hard Knocks.

If NFL Films can make a team look good in the NFL Yearbook show, I'm sure they can and will make the Dolphins look like a competent organization despite some of the public perception brought on by some questionable off-season activities.

I could get behind that(so to speak)

Les Brown, Cam Wake, etc.....many good stories....

I don't know why so many disagree with the move, we weren't going to the Superbowl this year. I hope they shy away from Lamar though....damn his pronunciation is bad.

Storyline is going to be about the same as the last few years ....

How to make Chicken Salad out of Chicken Schtuff!!

What will be interesting ... is how they will convince people to try a few bites!! ... before they spit it out!!

I hope they focus on the 40 th anniversary of the 72' undefeated team with lots of cameo's from Shula , Czonka and the boys.
That would be great and remind everyone of the standards of excellance the fan base was use to is expecting once again.

Is there really much of a question here?

Rookie Head Coach-----
Rookies and 1 or 2 undrafted guys fighting for roster spots-----
Wide Receivers trying to fill in for Bmarsh----
Reggie Bush----- Most well known player and ex of reality tv star
And a battle of the most important position in football..... quarterback

what else would outsiders who aren't dolphins fans want to see?

i am hopeful that it doesnt affect play on the field, but I think people are downplaying the spectacle that Kim Kardashian is brewing up in her pretty little vacuous head right now. I hope Reggie can block that **** out. Kardashian is quite possibly the biggest media whore ever, and HBO is the pinnacle of television. You know shes cooking up something. Reggie serial dates KK lookalikes, and i bet is still laying her the pipe (see quote below) on the down-low. he (understandably) just cant get enough of that ass. just hope it doesnt become a distraction for him, because hes by far our most talented player on offense (see video below).

So why doesn’t Reggie just date the real Kim? “Reggie likes hanging out with Kim, but he’s not into all the publicity,” a pal tells Life & Style. “He’s pretty much told her, ‘I don’t love you like that anymore; we’re just friends.’”
For the older folk here, this is code for they are still banging.
