In our division I honestly do feel that we will only win 2 or 3 games, splitting series with each team or possibly get swept once but I do feel that we have a legitimate shot of beating each team in our division once. Some teams on our schedule that I feel like we are a better team than and are capable of beating are... Cleveland, Tennessee, and New Orleans
So take those 3 wins and add them to possibly 3 divisions win which might be a little bit of a reach and than you have 6 wins right there and I feel that there are some games that we could win but won't be as easy Cleveland, Tennessee, etc... some realistic predictions would be Tampa Bay, Denver, and Oakland. That's 9 wins. Some teams that I feel are better than us or feel that could beat us realistically (not including division rivals) would be Kansas City, Atlanta, Carolina, and San Diego. That's 4 losses plus maybe around 3 division losses. Of course there could be upsets like us defeating Kansas City but losing to Tennessee, so this is a very poor inaccurate way of determining our record but I really don't think that 9-7 is that far of a realistic outcome. 9-7 almost definitely won't get us in the playoffs in the AFC but if we could come that close which I feel we could, playoffs are definitely a realistic possiblity.
Definitely seems to look like that our schedule is going to very difficult, and that our division is going to be very competitive like always. Really going to be tough facing the AFC West this year, but glad the Colts, Steelers, Ravens, and Eagles aren't on the list although I do feel that the Pats twice, Jets twice, Bills twice, Chiefs, Chargers, Falcons, and Panthers is just as bad if not worse. But this is all going of course mostly based on last season and teams change... and in a league where a team could 4-12 one year and 12-4 the next or where a SB Champion could end up not even making playoffs the next year, you really don't know what to expect. But based on we're anticipating, definitely looks to be a tough schedule. It is a pretty good thing to see Cleveland and Tennesse on our schedule because I do feel that along with San Francisco, they will be the worst teams.
