at least they are generally intelligent about the game, other boards would be like... "miami sucks we'll beat em by 32 points!!!" and ****...

they seem to know whats up... i do think that we really gotta stop their running game and jump to an early lead to force em into passing situation and we'll be able to get good pressure o nthe QB... im excited!
 
Looks like an intelligent and reasonable post to me. They know they can't underestimate any team.
 
1) PRESSURE ON THE QB! We have to get inside the head of Gus. We all know that he can get rattled. Once that happens the mistakes will flow. In turn, the opportunites for turnovers will come.

Uh....that's pretty much going to be the gameplan for every defense we'll face this year I do believe. Feel free to substitute Sage or A.J. where it says "Gus".

You know that's exactly what impressed me about them. It was a reasonable assessment of both their team and ours
 
I think if our defense is for real, we'll be in it. Our offensive line scares me though. The Browncos have improved their defensive line alot and their linebacking crew is one of the best
 
Our defense is for real IMO. In previous years we never got much pressure on the QB which is important especially considering our lack of offensive talent. I think our D will win us a few games this year.

I think so too, except I think it won't really jell till a little later in the season. I think we'll have alot of blown assignments and people out of position for the first few weeks. But it will come together and when it does watch out!
 
wow, impressive.

seem like an intelligent bunch of guys over there. some of them seem to know more about our team than some posters here do ;) they even commented that we'll miss surtain and knight. heh, how true.

pretty impressive though. definitely more intelligent than the posts you'd see on.... say.... gang green.
 
I think we should chop block them to death.

Can somebody please explain to me how a cast of castoffs from Cleveland, who's D line last year sucked by the way, be an upgrade anywhere. I just don't see it.
 
I think this will be when we finally see glimpses of how special this defense and Nick Saban's defensive philosophy can be. Obviously he's not going to show everything, but, this is really the first team (other than the Bucs in Preseason) that he's sitting down and watching tape of to game plan for them.. it's been talked about in the past, we'll line up in several formations and yet never run the same defense out of each formation.. It will be fun watching the other teams QB come to the line of scrimmage and be made to feel like he's reading chinese...
